**Review** Whiter than White ~ G.G. Carver ~ Kat's Review

Whiter than White
Author: G.G. Carver

Life is a rat race, and Elena White is stuck on the treadmill.
She's been living on autopilot, a slave to the 9-5 routine - until a chance meeting with an old school friend serves as the catalyst that changes Elena's life in a way she could never have imagined.

Dazzled by her friends self assured confidence, Elena makes an innocent attempt to break from the monotony, and the repercussions send her on a roller coaster of emotions, smashing predictability to pieces, leaving her life anything but predictable.

Well, I FINALLY did it. I read this book. And, I am glad I did. G.G. Carver did not let me down. He is now on my "must read" list of authors.

Elena finds herself, like so many young women do, in a job with a witchy boss who is determined to hold them back. Lonely, only working, eating and sleeping. No social life. She just feels like a "plan Jane" existing. In walks an old acquaintance, Jasmine,  from high school and they hit it off and become best friends. Since this girl had been one of the popular confident girls in school, you would assume she had it all figured out, right? Riiiiight... You know what they say about assuming.

Having taken Jasmine's advice on a dating website, only to be put in a bad position. What happens from there: Conrad, the man to save her, becomes her knight on a white horse..or motorcycle, though not white. Here is where the book gets REALLY interesting.

G, is a very descriptive writer, writing in omnipresent. You move from character to character, but you are also in their head at times too. I love that style of writing.

Also, getting to move from city to countryside, and take in the views. I had to *sigh* at that. Being set in the UK, I LOVED getting to "visit" the UK. I love reading books set there but getting a full on book 100% British with some Scottish thrown in also, nothing American...absolutely loved it (I am American.)

Speaking of descriptive, I should also mention he descriptively brings the HEAT! He holds nothing back there! *fanning face* Chances are, I will never meet this author in person. If I did, I might actually blush!

Now, I am waiting patiently for Lucky Numbers, his second book, coming soon!

Great job, G!
5 Golden Stars
