** BT & Giveaway** Beck ~ Security Corp 3 ~ Harper Sloan

Synopsis ~

**Warning** This book is intended for a mature reading**

I’ve always been good at wearing masks. Not letting anyone see the real me. I’m content being the happy-go-lucky best friend. The strong willed boss. The independent woman who doesn’t need a man.

But the truth is I’m just as broken as the rest of you. I’m terrified that all it will take is one person to make all my carefully constructed walls crumble into fine dust. So I guard my heart with everything I have. Determined to never let anyone get close enough to hurt me again.

All is perfect until HE walks into my life. No… he doesn’t just walk. He struts his good-looking, sex-oozing self-right into my space and demands that I see HIM. Making me want what I know I can’t have.

So I did the only thing I know how to do.
I run.
But he just won’t let me go.

The second I see her, I know she will be mine. I see past the gorgeous smiles and heart-stopping laughter. I see HER. She doesn’t want me to know her secrets or the past that haunts her, but I make it my mission to find out.

To make her mine.

She can run all she wants, but it will never be far enough to stop me from coming after her.
She’s it for me and she knows it.
She’s just too scared to admit it.

**NO cliffhanger, HEA, inter-connected standalones**

Amy's Thoughts ~

First lemme say, If you ARE NOT familar with Security Corps series. GET. WITH. THE. PROGRAM. Holy hell.  When I read Axel, I was hung over. Serious BHO for hours. I really couldn't imagine how Harper would top it. Cage came along and again - WoW. I loved Greg Cage. He was just awesome. Beck... no words. I read it, I was in shock and awe. How in the world Harper Sloan continually shocks me is beyond me. She should feel damn special. I read A LOT. No one makes me speechless like Harper does.

I knew from books 1 & 2 that Beck was going to be special. Beck is well... there really isn't a way to describe Beck. I can say that he's hot, he's sexy, blah blah blah, but that's not even what makes him so darned attractive. It's his heart.

Dee breaks my heart. We see one side of her in the first 2 books. I love that in Beck's book we get to see the real Dee, and she breaks my soul. Dee has so many demons that we never see. We see her supporting Isabella, we see her supporting Axel & Greg. She is such a strong character, to bounce back from all she has endured.

I have never claimed to be long winded when it comes to reviews. All I can say about this book, go, read it. It's wonderful. You'll read the whole series over and over and over again. Yea, It's that good. There's something special inside of Harper Sloan that she's able to bring these amazing stories to us. And I thank her profusely.

Learn a little more about Harper Sloan in the Interview below.

About the Author ~

Harper lives in small town Georgia just a short drive from her hometown of Peachtree City. She (and her 3 daughters) enjoy ruling the house they dubbed 'Estrogen Ocean', much to her husband’s chagrin. Harper has a borderline unhealthy obsession with books; you can almost ALWAYS find her with her ereader attached. As an ex-reviewer and blogger, Harper's passion for reading runs deep. It wasn't until 'Axel' decided to take up residence that she realized her true calling.

She started using writing as a way to unwind when the house went to sleep at night; and with a house full of crazy it was the perfect way to just relax. It didn't take long before a head full of very demanding alphas would stop at nothing to have their story told.

 Excerpt ~

It was 9:10 p.m. on a Thursday night and two hours into my shift. I had just made three gin and tonics for a group of girls at the bar when I saw a ridiculously hot redhead walking toward me. Definitely a 9, I thought. Also, she looks familiar.
She leaned across the bar and seductively whispered into my ear. “Hey Damian.” I saw her full breasts heave as I felt her hot breath against my face.
“What’s up, beautiful?” I caught a scent of her floral perfume. She sat down on the bar stool in front of me. I looked at her and gave her the signature Damian smile.
“Have we fucked before?” I asked. I saw the hurt look on her face, but she quickly played it off.
Yes, we must have fucked before.
“Uh—No. No, we haven’t,” she said, avoiding my eyes.
Liar, I thought.
“So what can I get you?” I asked as I grabbed a clean glass from under the bar.
“A Screaming Orgasm,” she said seductively as she licked her lips.
I smiled and knew very well she was not just referring to the cocktail.
“I want it in a shot glass, and I want it Damian style.” She bit her lower lip and gave my body a once-over.
I chuckled. Of course. A Damian style shot was something I had came up with when I opened Damian’s. It had became an instant hit. It involved taking the shot you ordered as a body shot off the bartender you ordered the shot from. I got a lot of business from the Damian style shot, and I loved having girls take shots off my body.
“My name’s Courtney, by the way,” she offered. I wondered if she had been waiting for me to ask.
“Gotcha. So where’d you like the shot from?” I asked as I made the shot.
She gave me a meaningful smile and bit her lower lip. “From your mouth.”
“Sure thing.” I turned away from her and leaned my head back until my head and shoulders were flat against the bar table. I then placed the bottom of the shot glass into my mouth and waited for her to take it.
She looked down at me with lust in her eyes, and I knew I must have fucked her hard. And now she was coming back for more. She purposefully placed her hands on my chest as she bent down to take the shot with her mouth. She knocked the shot back quickly and removed the shot glass from her mouth. She then grabbed my face as she bent back down and kissed me hard with her lips. This usually happened after a Damian special shot off my mouth, so I was not at all surprised by her aggressiveness. I opened my mouth and her tongue eagerly explored me as moans escaped her lips.
When Courtney finally went up for air and released me from her grip, I stood back up and turned back to her to give her a wicked smile. I love my job.
And then my entire body tensed and my heart stopped when my eyes locked onto the last person I had expected to see.

About the Author ~

Jessica Wood writes new adult contemporary romance.

While she has lived in countless cities throughout the U.S., her heart belongs to San Francisco. To her, there’s something seductively romantic about the Golden Gate Bridge, the steep rolling hills of the city streets, the cable cars, and the Victorian-style architecture.

She loves a strong, masculine man with a witty personality. While she is headstrong and extremely independent, she can’t resist a man who takes control of the relationship, both outside and inside of the bedroom.

She loves to travel internationally, and tries to plan a yearly trip abroad. She also loves to cook and bake, and—to the benefit of her friends—she loves to share. She also enjoys ceramics and being creative with her hands. She has a weakness for good (maybe bad) TV shows; she’s up-to-date on over 25 current shows, and no, that wasn’t a joke.

And it goes without saying, she loves books—they’re like old and dear friends who have always been there to make her laugh and make her cry.

The one thing she wished she had more of is time.

**BT & Giveaway** Make Me ~ Amanda Heath

Make me, Channing. Make me fall. Push me, shove me, just make sure I get there.” I shout at him, taking a step back. His eyes clash with mine. I read the challenge there, making me take another step back. He stalks the few steps to me and grabs my arms slamming his forehead down on mine, “I’ll make you.” His lips skim against mine as he continues to speak, “And I’ll be falling right there with you.”

Amy's Thoughts ~

Living in squalor, Paisley learned that she has to be the adult here. Her mother, so doped up she couldn't function. Paisley takes over as the mommy for her baby sister. In the blink of an eye, her mother is gone, her best friend turned away from her, and she finds herself in a position where she's no longer "mom" to BeeBee. On overload, Paisley has to think, she has to analyze, she needs to figure out what her next move is gonna be. Oh and don't forget she's suddenly loaded. No more squalor.

Upon her mother's death, Paisley discover a host of extended family including two crazy cousins and one very sexy Channing Southerland. And apparently she's rich. Not just rich but "omg-I'll-never-spend-all-this-in-a-lifetime-RICH".

Channing Southerland is a god. He is the epitome of sexy, mysterious, broading, and dark. Everyone thinks they *know* Channing, but in reality they know nothing.

At every turn in this book, I found another mystery to solve. Another "what the heck" moment. I, myself, began to wonder if anything in this poor girl's life was real, what was the truth?!

Amanda Heath created an amazing story here. Just when you think you have reached the end of the tunnel, anoter twist will have your jaw dropping. And omg that Epilogue!!!! I am dying for Book 2!!!!

Blog Tour Teaser #1

“Do you really want me to fall for you?” I whisper.
He gets up from the ground and runs his fingers through his hair. He seems frustrated but I don’t know why. “That’s what I want,” he whispers also. Looking back at me. I can’t see his eyes from here but I know what they look like. Full of fear and uncertainly. “I’m scared though. I’ve never been in a serious relationship. And I really don’t want to fuck this up.”
I’m scared too. Sometimes he consumes my thoughts and that was before I knew how he felt. I couldn’t imagine what it would be like to be with him and I screw up. But I know that I want to fall for him. I know deep in my soul that I will never have a love in my life like I would with Channing.
And that’s the scariest thought I’ve ever had.
“I don’t know if that’s what I want,” I tell him looking away.
He runs his fingers through his hair yet again. “Paisley, don’t fuck with my head. I’ve had enough of that in my life. I can’t do crazy bitches anymore.”
I flinch with the comparison to his mother. To my mother. “I’m not fucking with your head. Maybe we shouldn’t do this.”
I can see he’s pissed now. He’s unable to see my fear that I’m trying to push him away, like he was trying to push me away. “Stop. The. Fucking. Head. Games!” he yells, taking a deep breath after each word.
“I’m not!” I yell back. Who knows what the truth is anymore. I’ve been screwed by a lot of people, but I’m still here. I wouldn’t survive being fucked over by Channing. I wouldn’t survive him breaking my heart.
“Dammit Paisley! Open your fucking eyes! This is fucking real. You and me, that’s real. What we feel isn’t a fling. I’ve never felt this way about anyone in my life. Don’t take it from me,” his voice is pleading.
My body breaks out in a cold sweat and I wipe my palms on my leggings. My limbs shake and I don’t know if I’m mad or just plain fucked up. Maybe it’s me with the commitment issues. No, I know it is me. So I do something for myself, I let go of that fear. Though it comes out more like anger.
“Make me, Channing. Make me fall. Push me, shove me, just make sure I get there,” I shout at him, taking a step back. His eyes clash with me. I read the challenge there, making me take another step back.
He stalks the few steps to me and grabs my arms slamming his forehead down on mine. “I’ll make you.” His lips skim against mine as he continues to speak. “And I’ll be falling right there with you.”

**Review** Wrecked ~ Priscilla West

Synopsis ~

“There would be no happy ending for us. He was too damaged. I was too broken.”

Two years ago, Lorrie’s mother was murdered. But that wasn’t the end of it. Reeling from the tragedy, Lorrie’s father spiraled into alcohol, depression, and finally suicide.

The two most important people in Lorrie’s life are both gone but she’s still alive.

Trying to recover from the tragedy, Lorrie returns to campus, ready to pick up the pieces of her life. All Lorrie wants is to get back to “normal.”

Then she meets Hunter. The man, the legend, “the Hammer.”

Hunter is a cage fighter who takes on every fight like he’s got nothing to lose. His life is a tangled mess of girls, booze, and fist fights. And while it may seem like he’s got a devil-may-care attitude, he’s fighting a private cage-match with a monster he can’t defeat.

Lorrie knows that Hunter is the exact type of guy she should stay away from, especially in her fragile state, but Hunter has other ideas.

As Hunter and Lorrie grow closer together, will they be able to overcome their pain and heal each other? Or will they both end up wrecked?

Amy's Thoughts ~

**Provided by Netgalley in exchange for an honest review**

In Priscilla West's Wrecked, we have the typical tattoed, muscle, bound bad boy, meets the train wreck of a girl trying to put her life back together.

Return the college, Lorrie Burnham, is trying to move beyond her horrific past and be a "normal" person again. On top of everything else, she has no clue what she wants for the future, and she's completely jaded about everything. NOT just guys, friends, but life in general. She truly got on my nerves a bit. That doesn't happen often.

Despite all that's crazy in his life, underground MMA fighter Hunter "The Hammer" Jensen falls for Lorrie, even though she's desperate to keep him in the friend-zone. Hunter is the enigma. Hunter is the character that holds this book together. Lorrie had a tendency to go all crazy on him when she heard rumors, when he did things with other girls, yet she wanted to friend-zone him?? Really? One thing I did love about Hunter was he had this "little boy" joy about him about some of the things in the book. You could really feel his vuneralibilty there.

Hunter knows that Lorrie is broken, but not why. She knows he's this amazingly, sweet guy, but not that he's just as shattered as she is. I really can not wait to read Rescued to find out what happens with Hunter and Lorrie. Overall, great book, one I'll definitely read again.

As they begin their tour together professionally and personally, life couldn’t be any better for the couple. Until a mistake from Jack’s past threatens their new relationship, and their perfect future together.

Amy's Thoughts ~

I absolutely LOVED this book. Such a fantastic debut novel for author A.M. Madden. Who doesn't love a rock star novel?

Leila is a singer, a rocker. Always wanted to be one, always worked her butt off to make it. Jack is the cocky front man for Devil's Lair & they are looking for a new back up singer for the band. And Leila is it.

Off on the tour of a lifetime, Jack and Leila begin to grow closer much to the dismay of some of the people around them. Just when HEA is on the horizon, it all gets thrown to the wayside when their past comes to bite them.

Truly an amazing debut novel. I see bright things in the future for A.M. Madden. Especially if her writing stays on the path it's on. You do not want to miss this novel, it's got all the fun stuff we love. Bad boy rocker, Sexy tough-as-nails rocker chick, hot steamy sex and plenty of drama!

♥ Amy's Thoughts ♥

A Sweet Affair is the 2nd book in Isabella Rae's Atlanta Affair Series. In this book we get to see a inside look at Victoria's best friend Sage, and Leland's best friend Connor.

Sage is so much more damaged than we thought. While she's always been there for Vie, we find out that in reality, Vie is the one who has been Sage's rock. Sage isn't proud of her past, but she's been working for a few years to get past it and move on. All the while, working for her dream of her own bakery. Now that she has her bakery, she can focus a little more on herself.

Connor, the sexy chef, has had his eye on Sage since the first time he met her. She's alway held him at arms length, never allowing him to get close. Now, he's pulling all stops to get there. He enlists the help of Vie to get through her walls. When he finally does, he's shocked at what he finds.

Isabella Rae has quickly become a "go-to" author for me. I love her work, and her fashion for story telling. I can't wait to dive into the next book in the Atlanta Series. <3

♥ Meet the Author ♥

Isabella Rae has been writing for over 10 years but never published because she was discouraged by the publishing process. Recently a friend of hers released a book through self-publishing and inspired Isabella to release her first book. When Isabella is not writing she is busy being a single mom to 2 beautiful girls, and works as a baker, and server at a local restaurant.

Isabella was born in Peachtree City, Georgia, a suburb south of Atlanta, where she still resides. Her love of reading inspired her to move into writing. She uses personal experiences with baking and life in general to inspire her work. As a unique touch to each of the books in her first series, she has chosen to include personal recipes to give it a personal touch.

Isabella is active on social media sites Facebook, Twitter, Goodreads and Pinterest.

♥ Author Interview ♥

What was your inspiration for the Atlanta Affair series? Isabella: Well, I live just south of Atlanta, so for me, that was an obvious setting. Honestly my characters were the inspiration. All three main friends (Victoria, Sage, and Nick) are all inspired by people in my life. I created all the characters first and then let them create the stories.
What is your writing inspiration? Isabella: I guess you could say that my daughters are the reason I write. I’m trying to make a better life for them. As far as for the books themselves I use personalities I encounter as well as fantasies to inspire me.
How did you become a writer? Isabella: I actually started writing in High School. Over the years I started several different stories, but always put them down and forgot about them. I thought I would never be able to get them published so I didn’t make them a priority. Recently I saw that Harper Sloan had released Axel. I went to high school with Harper and seeing her with a book out, inspired me to try again. She actually helped me a lot during this whole process.
What words of wisdom would you give to those wanting to get into writing or just starting out? Isabella: Don’t be afraid to ask for help. The indie author community is amazingly supportive. I still have so much to learn, but they are all so willing to help. I’m proud to be included in such an amazing group of people.
Who is your favorite character from your book? Isabella: I honestly don’t know if I can answer that. I like all of them for different things. I love that Leland is willing to do what’s necessary to get what he wants. I love that Victoria is so self-aware. I really enjoy the friendship between Victoria and Sage, they fit together so well.
Who is your favorite author? Isabella: That’s a three way tie between Janet Evanovich, Nora Roberts/J.D. Robb, and Iris Johansen
Do you have a genre that you want to get into next? Isabella: I’m pretty happy with the genre I am in now, but if I ever ventured into another one it would have to romantic suspense.
Do you plan to start a new book or series (anything outside of your current work)? Isabella: Of course I plane to write more after my Atlanta Affair Series, but right now I am focused on “A Wedding Affair” the third book in my series, which will be Nick and Piper’s story. There will be a total of five books in the series. What is your favorite color? Isabella: Turquoise
What is your favorite food? Isabella: Potaotes
What would you die without? Isabella: My daughters
What is your favorite city you like to visit? Isabella: Out of the places I have been, probably New York What place do you dream to visit? Isabella: Ireland, I traced my family back to County Donegal Ireland and would love to go there.
What do you do outside of writing? Isabella: I am a single mom, a server, and a baker.
What are you currently working on? Isabella: “A Wedding Affair” and plans for an untitled stand alone novel. What’s your favorite book? Isabella: Wow, I don’t have an answer for this one. My favorite book always changes. I would say that whenever the new Janet Evanovich book comes out, I buy it!
Where do you see yourself in 10 years? Isabella: In 10 years I hope to be writing still without having to worry about working a day job. I know most indie authors don’t get that luxury, but I can dream!
What is your favorite guilty pleasure? Isabella: Probably reality tv, I can’t get enough of the drama. I hate drama in my own life, but give me the Real World/Road Rules Challenge and I’m hooked.
What is one thing that no one really knows about you? Isabella: That I am still technically married. We’ve been separated for 3 years, and still trying to get the divorce.
What’s the best piece of advice you have been given? Isabella: “just be sure to realize you're dealing with men. Remember to think what would a man say or do in this situation, because me react and think very differently from women” from Ella Frank on writing my first m/m novel.
