As Jennifer Foor continues Mitchell Healy Series we have now gotten a taste of Ty's twins. That old saying like father like son comes immediately to mind.

Jake & Jax are not only twins but attached at the hip. They do everything together. They always have. So when they both meet the one girl that completes them. All hell breaks loose. Jake wanting to be the best brother he can, ignores the things he feels allowing Jax to have his happiness.

I will admit, while reading this book there were times I feel like I was reading Ty's story all over again. Jenn Foor took a big risk creating a story so similar to that of Ty's. But, as only Jennifer Foor can do, she made it work.

My heart belonged to Branch and Brooks Valentine since we were children, when we were all too naïve to know what that even meant. We didn’t understand that when we became adults, love would change us. I had to make a choice and when I did, it ripped our bond apart. Brooks left town, and he took half of my heart with him. It was difficult, but I coped and planned my future with Branch. I thought I’d made the right decision. I loved him and I always had.

Brooks showed up to be our best man the night before our nuptials. After drinks and too much reminiscing, I ended up in bed with the wrong brother. To avoid the humiliation and the fact that I’d ruined all of our lives, I left Branch and the only family I’d ever known.

That’s where my story should have ended.

Two years, one beautiful little girl and an abusive marriage later, I was standing there staring at the man that would always hold my heart.

What a love triangle. From the prologue, this gripped my heart and wouldn't let go. 

Katy was raised by her parents best friends due to the tragedies of 9-11. But, along with her guardians came twin sons, Branch & Brooks, who were there for each other through life's trials and tribulations. 

Falling in love with both brothers and only getting one was a hard choice for Katy. Deciding if she had made the right choice was even harder. Throw in the mix that one brother was fighting for her love and attention in his own messed-up way and the other was always by her side. Didn't make for a life of easy choices. 

Just when she thought that marrying her long-time friend would make everything better, life again threw her for a twist. Leaving and starting over was what she felt was best for all involved. Her broken heart wasn't the only thing she left with though.

Starting over in a strange new town proved to be easier then she thought. Finding someone who would be willing and wanting to help her was not what she expected. Bobby was the hometown boy who everyone loved. He did no wrong in their eyes and had his eyes set on Katy the day he met her. Being there for her through thick and thin was his plan. He was falling for her and willing to do whatever to help her. But as they say, things aren't always what they seem behind closed doors.

Brooks fought long enough to keep his distance. Katy knew deep down that she would always love Brooks and needed to find a way back to him. But, Bobby wasn't willing to release her. 

Reconnecting with Brooks was more eye-opening for him then he anticipated. The shock and awe of it proved to be just what helps them put their lives where they should have been all along. Enough time had been wasted by both. But it didn't come without cost. 

This was full of twists and turns and every emotion possible to pull at you. Absolutely amazing book.
