**BT & Giveaway** Stay With Me by Elyssa Patrick

Stay With Me

Elyssa Patrick

With one look, I’m his . . .

With one touch, he’s mine . . .

With one kiss, it changes everything between us . . .

I’ve been famous since I can remember. Singing, acting, dancing—I’ve done it all. The tabloids cover my every move, but I don’t want that anymore. I want to be normal, whatever that is.

When I leave Hollywood for college in Vermont, I’m on my own for the first time in my life. This is my chance to figure out who I am and what I want in life.

But it’s a lot harder than I expected. I can’t escape my image. Classes are difficult, and I’m struggling. And then there’s Caleb Fox.

Sexy, intriguing Caleb Fox.

Caleb is the one man who doesn’t want to use me. He breaks down my walls. He challenges me. He wants me. And I just don’t know if I can give him the same—or if he’ll stick around when he finds out my shameful secret that the tabloids haven’t managed to uncover.

Dating him is risky enough, but loving him could break me.

About the Author~

Elyssa Patrick writes sexy, emotional contemporary romances and New Adult. She is currently working on her next novel.

Amy's Thoughts~

Hailey Bloom has lived the life of luxury. Always in the spotlight for either acting, modeling, or singing. She's always been under the mircroscope. Saying enough is enough, Hailey decides she wants to go to college like a normal person. She's done with Hollywood and all it entails.

In a school as far away from Hollywood as she can get, she meets Caleb Fox. Caleb is the only brother of 4 sisters. And he's the oldest. Protective much? He works hard, plays hard, and loves with everything he is. Caleb and Hailey embark on a friendship that will change them both, and a love that is irrefutable.

I love Hailey's character. She has been burned throughout her life by her mother, by Hollywood. Yet, she knows that there is more to life. She gets out. She has that courage to find herself. Caleb is the perfect companion to Hailey. He gives her the support she needs to keep moving forward & become who she is supposed to be. Hailey and Caleb bring this story alive, yet it wouldn't be complete without their friends. Kai, Dylan, Jamie, Nick, Griffin, & Daphne. Oh how I hope we have books for all of them. This is an awesome group of friends who bring the laughs and breaks the tension just when it's needed.

Fantastic story here with Hailey and Caleb. I can not wait to read the next book, and I hope and pray it's Nick. ;)

He steps closer to me, a glint in his eyes. “I’m a distraction?”

“A huge one.”

“Good.” He’s so close to me that his breath whispers over my hair. His lips are almost touching my ear. “Because you’re definitely distracting me, too.”

I put my hand against his chest and feel his muscles tighten in response. “Well, then we’re in perfect agreement.”

“And what’s that?”

“Distractions”—I jump when I feel his mouth skate over my earlobe—“are not needed, and that w-we sh-should . . .”

His lips enclose on my lobe, tugging it gently. “You were saying?”

He knows what everyone "thinks" of him, but do they know him? Does anyone?

Maddie has had a crush on Logan for years. A crush that could be borderline stalker-ish in some eyes. The crush that a grown into love beyond measure, a Love that has become so fierce, that Maddie will go to whatever lengths needed to become his. Maddie takes those risks, she takes a chance and risks her entire world to look in the eyes of Logan Martelli.

Ms. Cooper takes us on a journey that is simply more than "good girl meets boy from the wrong side of the tracks". We have a story where every player is not what or who they appear to be. **Release Event & Giveaway** Recklessly ~ A.J. Sand

Celebrating the release of Recklessly by A. J. Sand, the author is offering great prizes and an excerpt from the book!

  Title: Recklessly
  Author: A.J. Sand
  Release date: August 28th, 2013
  Genre: Contemporary Romance
  Age Group: Mature New Adult/Adult

Wes Elliott just met his match…and she might actually burn his entire world down. Surfing and sex. This is Wes Elliott's life. And it's just the way he likes it.

After seeing his parents stay in a loveless marriage his entire life, and burying away a heartbreak from his past, he knows where romance is best left: crappy chick movies. He'd rather lust and eventually leave, and that's exactly what the plan was when he met Lana Langston.

Except…turns out she’s only in it for the thrills, too. She's always only in it for the thrills: life in the literal fast lane on her motorcycle, and the hot nights in forbidden places without the awkward talks in the mornings after.

She's Wes Elliott in way tighter jeans. So, this should be perfect, right?

But the more time Wes spends with her, the more he wants the nights to turn into mornings. And maybe even longer. Suddenly, it isn't so perfect for him anymore. And the things he thought were buried are digging themselves up.

Now Wes is in a lot of trouble. He’s falling in love with the one girl who might be a bigger risk than even a guy who gets barreled by the most dangerous waves in the world is willing to take on.

Can Wes and Lana figure out a way to make it work? Or is he headed for something far more reckless?

Due to the sexual content, language and violence, this work is not recommended for readers under 18.

Lana slid her lip out from between her teeth. She ran her thumb just south of his bellybutton, and the area below where his belt sat warmed beneath the surface of his skin. “Damn. I didn’t realize how late it was…” she said with a frown as she took a glance at her cell. “I guess I’ve been having too good of a time to notice.”

“Me too.”

“So…is this where it ends tonight?”

Wes pecked a soft kiss on her lips, his fingers trailing down the space between her collarbone and cleavage. “You tell me, Lana.”

“Well, I can’t wait ‘til Tuesday.”

“I know. Me too.”

“No,” Lana said, pulling his ear to her lips, “I mean, don’t make me wait ‘til Tuesday.”

***ARC REVIEW** Striking ~ Lila Felix & Rachel Higginson

Lila Felix & Rachel Higginson

Cami Montgomery stole a car and smashed it into the front of a building in upscale Beverly Hills after a lousy date with the epitome of sleaze balls. The worst part, her parents are following through on threats after this latest plea for attention. Banished from her L.A. paradise and plunged into the Appalachian Mountains with her industrious aunt and uncle, Cami is about to find out how precious life really is.

Stockton Wright has been thrust into a hard life. He sacrifices everything to give his family and community what they need. He’s exhausted from life and work—and he’s only twenty four. What he needs is some change, and some sunshine. Even he will agree to that. He just doesn’t expect to find it in a stuck up, pompous, entitled Californian.

Cami bursts into Stockton’s life like wildfire, consuming all his thoughts and tangling him in her web. What starts out as a contentious rivalry evolves into a desire neither of them expected. When hammer meets metal, will they crack under pressure or be forged as one?

Cami and Stockton might just end up being exactly what the other one needs, but first their love will have to be drawn out in fire.

Amy's Thoughts~
Lila Felix & Rachel Higginson have come together to create this breathtaking tale of love, deceit, greed, grief, & growing up.

Striking is the Story of a girl, Cami, who grew up with anything & everything she wanted. And none of the one thing she needed in her life. Love. Spoiled & entitled, Cami does what she wants, when she wants. She's wreckless, unashamed, & unapologetic.

In an attempt to get their youngest to grow up, Cami's parents ship her off to a podunk town in Tennessee to spend some time doing some “hard labor”.

Stockton Wright gave up his dreams to step into the role as caretaker of his youngest sibling. He did it without complaint, without looking back at what his life could have been. After all, being a blacksmith had it's advantages. Trade, Sell. It didn't matter to him as long as he had enough work to put food on the table, and a roof over their heads. Stock didn't have much in his life, but he had his family & their memories. That's all he really needed. Until a spoiled little rich girl from California looks in his direction.

Are these 2 people born worlds apart able to come together and build a love forged from the fire?

Lemme tell you, I love Cami & Stockton. Big world, snobby princess meets hard-working, dirty, sweaty smith. Attempting to come together and love beyond the boundaries of their circumstances. Each dealing with a grief that holds tight and defines their existence.

There are so many scenes from this book I wish I could share. In effort of keeping this review “spoiler free” I don't think it would be a good idea. I will say, Stockton represents what a TRUE gentleman should be.

Her mouth was the beginning and the end of me” ~Stockton

One kiss and I was lost” ~Cami

Lila Felix and Rachel Higginson will once again astound their readers with the depth of the characters & emotions we find burned into the pages of Striking

Playing With Her Heart ~ Lauren Blakely

Playing With Her Heart

Lauren Blakely

When you’re acting the role of a lifetime, how can you know if love is real—or all just a part of the show?

Twenty-three year old rising theatre star Jill McCormick has built a life out of pretending. Pretending she’s happy, pretending her long-distance crushes add up to something real, pretending she’s not haunted by the dark secret that shattered her world six years ago. Cast in her first Broadway show, she desperately needs to keep her façade intact, but that’s before she comes face to face with her devastating new boss…

Hot-shot director Davis Milo knows the first rule of directing: never fall for your leading lady. Captivated by Jill’s raw talent, he fights his feelings, but watching Jill on-stage with another man is more than his jealous streak can take. Keeping things professional isn’t an option. He wants all of her.

Soon the ingénue and her director are staying late in the empty theatre, their private rehearsals spiraling into new, forbidden territory. Caught up between fiction and reality, Jill struggles to find the truth in all their staged kisses. But how can she be sure that what she feels is real, and not a part of the play? And when two people spend their lives pretending, what happens after the final curtain falls?

Amy's Thoughts~

After Acting and pretending for so long, how do you decide what's reality? Jill has to figure this out. What's real? What's part of the show? Not only in love, but friendships as well. Who is being true, who is making nice with co-workers? I loved Jill's character. So many times in books, the female character gets left behind in a quest for the next BBF.

While Davis is definitely BBF material, Jill is the head of the line for the next BGF. I love that Jill holds nothing back from Davis, yet she keeps her options open. And she gives as much as she gets. Jill has depth to her, with her history and back story. Yet, she doesn't let it cripple her, and it's not all angsty. Yes, there's hurt and grief, but it doesn't define her 99% of the time.

Bravo to Ms. Blakely for giving us a strong female lead I'd been looking for.

Now for Davis. Davis is an award winning, hard-nosed, demanding director for the play that Jill has just been cast. He is instantly trapped by her depth of emotion & presence on the stage. He must have her. But Wait.. Davis doesn't date actresses. He's going to break all his rules for her.

I found it refreshing to have a male lead who was as Alpha as he was, yet as in tune with his emotional side as he was. Davis made all the right moves and played his scene well.

Ms. Blakely once again exceeds my expectations with her work. I have been a fan of hers since the beginning and with each novel she writes her work gets better and better.

About the Author~

Lauren Blakely is an unabashed fan of clever jokes, toast, and sexy alpha males. Like the heroine in PLAYING WITH HER HEART, she thinks life should be filled with hot men, music, and epic chemistry. Lauren lives in California with her husband and children, and spends her days writing both true stories and make-believe ones.

**BT & Giveaway** Spark ~ Brooke Cumberland

Final Tour Banner

Brooke Cumberland

After being saved by a firefighter, Velaney Wills meets Eric Reilley, who recently moved from Texas to Boston to work on the Boston Fire Department. Ironically, Eric lives below Velaney and with his devilish charm, and sweet accent, Velaney is finding him hard to resist. Velaney grew up in what should've been the perfect childhood. Her father owns his own dental practice, and her mother a Pastor. She wasn't allowed to swear and never got into any trouble, however, her troubled and complicated past makes her build walls that she doesn't let down easily. Eric is fascinated with the fact that Velaney can't swear. She uses filler words to express herself that he often finds hilarious. Velaney runs as her outlet - releasing the rage and anger she has built up inside her from a deep secret she's never told anyone except her lifelong best friend, and roommate, Carissa.  Eric and Velaney become running partners - only securing their obvious sexual tension between them. No matter how much Velaney pushes Eric away, he will always be there to save her.

Amy's Thoughts~

I have been a fan of Brooke Cumberland since I first read the Riverside series. It's no different with Spark. I loved the story line, it was one I hadn't come across yet.

Vel is tortured, she can't get away. Every time she thinks she's managed to escape her past, it finds a way to catch up with her again. And it's not pleasant, no matter how you spin it, it's bad.

Eric is a bit of an enigma. I really had a difficult time figuring him out. He was like a light switch for me. On, then off, on, then off. But one thing about Eric, even with his funny ways, he was always there to save Vel when she needed it.

As I said, I loved the story line, it was unlike one I have come across as a blogger/reviewer. There was parts, that I felt like needed to be a bit more evolved and it would have just made the book better.  There was also parts that I felt were a bit glossed over.

I urge you to pick up a copy for Spark, check it out, see what you think. Brooke, you did well! I love that Vel grew and found the inner strength she needed. Eric was a well played hero. I would love to see a follow up on Vel & Eric and see how they work out.

About the Author~

Brooke is a midwestern gal, from the cheese state of Wisconsin! Go Packers! She's a stay-at-home mom of three beautiful children (one daughter & two stepsons) and a black fury dog. She's studied psychology in college, and counseling and education in graduate school where she found her love for writing. ***BT & GIVEAWAY*** Vixen In Vegas by Emma Nichols

Add to your shelf!

It was supposed to be a week of simply being, of living in the moment, and enjoying every minute while it lasted. Of course, that kind of intoxication can have lingering effects. For Sin, she found herself wanting to break all the rules, to extend her time with the stranger who stole her heart. Vegas was just the right kind of place to take such a gamble. Meeting up with BE at the gondolas was a risk. Love went against everything they had promised, but the best things in life can’t be planned.

Soon Alysin will be tested.

After guarding her heart for so long, she finally let a man in and discovered that the worst things in life happened when she least expected them. When she walked in on BE with another woman and overheard their heated conversation, she suddenly remembered there was a reason she made these rules.

Will broken rules lead to broken hearts or will she realize that though love was a gamble, she was all in?

Author Links     Facebook * Twitter * Goodreads

About the author~

What made her decide to be an erotica author?

How else was she going to parlay her two favorite past times into a career?

Emma is single and loving it. Like her first character, Alysin, Sin for short, she doesn't believe in settling or in settling down. She loves to indulge in her passions whenever the mood strikes and enjoys keeping all of life's cliche moments spicy.

Known for her sense of humor, Emma surrounds herself with friends whose antics often become the source of book fodder. Her ideal situation would be to explore the Caribbean while writing. She pursues that dream daily.

Interview with Emma Nichols~

What sparked your interest in becoming a romance writer?

I often joke that I became a writer of romance and erotica because it was the best way for me to parlay my passions into a career.

What was the first romance novel you read that made an impression on you?

When I was really young, I read The Thornbirds.  It was the naughtiest book I could imagine.  I remember thinking that I needed to be able to write like that.  So, that’s what I try to do.

Tell us 5 surprising things about yourself.

1.     I have a tattoo.
2.     I want more…small, sexy, meaningful.
3.     My palate has really become more sophisticated…as evidenced by my love of sushi and asparagus…sometimes even together.
4.     I think cruising is the only way to travel.
5.     For someone so intrigued by sex, I didn’t lose my virginity for a really long time.

What is your writing environment.

I write wherever I am comfortable at the moment.  It could be in the living room, lying on the bed, on the garage couch, or even the floor.  I abhor writing at desks.  It feels too much like work and I just want to have fun with it.

One of your favorite quotes.

By Mae West: You only live once, but if you do it right, once is enough.

Do you have a website recommendation for other writers?

Great ideas.  I’m working to implement them…especially marketing.

Who is your perfect hero? And why?

I think the perfect hero is perfectly imperfect.  I think he has flaws, but that when he finds love, they make him more real, less god-like.  He doesn’t have to have this model-esque body.  He says the right things, even if he doesn’t say them smoothly.  My favorite heroes are the reformed players, the ones who have been around and finally found everything they never knew they always wanted with the unlikeliest of women.

Which authors have caught your interest lately? Why?

Hmmm.  In the author groups, I’m finding ones that I try to emulate, that I admire for their skill and their abilities.  JB McGee has a new book coming out,,,Skipping Stones.  I’ve been able to beta that a bit.  And Brandy Dorsch is an aspiring writer who has an interesting looking paranormal romance coming out soon.

What type of book have you always wanted to write?

It has taken me forever, but Sin at Sea is the kind of book I always wanted to be brave enough to write.  There is something so liberating about not worrying over pushing the envelope.  At the same time, I think while writing something very erotic, I kept it classy.  That’s important.  Even my smut has a story.

Who are your dream dinner party guests?

If I could have anyone come to my parties…Channing Tatum…oh hell, the entire cast of Magic Mike.  Ummm…I don’t really think I’d need to invite anyone else…at all.  We’ll keep it nice and intimate.

What’s the last movie you watched and loved?

Loved?  Wow.  It has been a while since I loved a movie.  Dating means I watch movies that the guy loves…like action, horror, and thrillers.  Me, I prefer movies with meaning, movies that speak to me…like Under the Tuscan Sun or Love Actually.

Most _____________ in high school. (popular, nerdy, sporty…) Why?

It’s funny.  I thought I was nerdy.  I thought I was shy.  And then I go to a reunion and discover that everyone else thought I was popular.  I just did my own thing, whatever made me happy.  Still do.  It’s the best way to live.

Top three things on your bucket list.

1.     Take a Mediterranean cruise.
2.     Explore Greece
3.     Take a hot air balloon ride.  That one might be challenging since I also have a fear of heights.  Still…

How did you get the idea for this particular novel?

My goal was to write this great beach read.  It kind of forced me to go through with it, get it published for summer.  I took everything that I loved about summer…the water, the beaches, the travel, vacations, hot guys, and sexy times.  There are a lot of my own personal experiences in it.

What is your favorite scene in your new release?

I love where they meet, how they meet, their interaction.  Yes, Alysin and Mr. Bedroom Eyes have chemistry from the start.

If you could be one of your characters - Who would you be? And why?

I would love to be Alysin, so supremely confident, so independent.  She speaks her mind.  She’s very worldly.  She’s tough.

Amy's Thoughts~

Vixen in Vegas picks up directly where Sin at Sea left off. There is one change that I found rather surprising! While Sin at Sea is classified as Erotica, I don't know that I would classify Vixen in Vegas as such.

Alysin is at a loss as how to deal with all of the emotions and things she's feeling. Thank God for Jolie to keep her in check until she gets to where she's going. Only BE can keep her assured that she's making the right move this time.

BE ~ I don't wanna give away his name ~ is so much more than Sin ever thought. She is literally shocked speechless when she finds out exactly who he is. Regardless, she loves him. He treats her as the princess he thinks she is. Now Sin is waiting for the "other shoe to drop".

They continue their whirlwind love affair in hopes of HEA. But with the secrets that BE is keeping, is a HEA really in their future? Sin has to wonder, how can there be a HEA?

Emma Nichols blew me away with Sin at Sea.  For an erotic novel, it far surpassed everything I expected. With Vixen in Vegas, I was happy to get a little more insight to Sin and BE and even what makes Jolie tick.  Miss Nichols managed to practically switch genre's without even meaning to do so, and it was perfect. Vixen in Vegas was the perfect compliment to Sin at Sea. We see the characters grow from the hot, sexy stranger son a cruise to dealing with the trials and tribulations that come with every day relationships.  We see the growth in the their confidence and the love for one another.

Another hit for Miss Nichols!!
