Synopsis~ 

For the next eleven days all Amelia Adler wants is a nice relaxing vacation on the beach. All she’ll do is drink pineapple margaritas and read sexy steamy romance novels. She doesn’t want to think about the stress of her daily life nor the fact that she doesn’t know what to do with her life.


Craig Patrice just wants to spend his last spring break catching wave after waves during the day in the Pacific Ocean, and relax as much as he can at night. This is his last break before finishing law school and starting at a firm this upcoming summer. He has no desire for a fling or a girlfriend. All he wants is to buckle down and finish this year off right. That is until he gets a glimpse of his vacationing neighbor, and for the life of him, he can’t look away.

Though Craig and Amelia are somewhat reluctant for a relationship, they seem to find comfort in one another and can’t let go of each other. Finding romance on vacation is one thing, but can their relationship withstand the demands of real daily life and once a past relationship catches up with them will believing in each other’s truth save their future.

Excerpt~ 

Crawling up her body I leave kisses here and there before pulling her close to me. Spooning her. “G’mornin’, baby,” I whisper and nip at her earlobe.

Still catching her breath, she wiggles her bottom toward me. “Umm…morning. Mmm, I think someone else is awake, too.” She giggles feeling my aching erection rest between her cheeks. She takes advantage and starts to rub up and down with her bottom.

“Oh baby, let’s not start something we can’t finish,” I try to still her.

“But he’s awake and he’s lonely and wants to play with me,” she turns, facing me. Before I can say a word, she has me in her hands. Moving her little hand up and down, having no mercy on me.

Amy's Thoughts~ 

When I first "met" CT Oliver. She had emailed my FB page, asking me to read and review her book. She explained that she was having a hard time finding bloggers to do so because she was a first time author. I was appalled by this! This is why bloggers do what they do, I just didn't understand why they were turning her down. So I started pimping her out, promoting her book. And lemme tell ya - TO THOSE BLOGGERS WHO SAID NO - your effin loss, because this book was amazing! I loved it. I couldn't believe it came from a first timer. The more I talk to CT, the more I love her to pieces. She's kind, generous, always upbeat, and always goes after what she wants. Much like Amelia in Love of Truth.

Amelia needs to get away from her life, she needs a break. So she heads down to her uncle's beach house for a little R&R. Where she instantly meets Craig. Sexy, ex-special forces Craig. They spend their vacation in each others arms, sharing their laughs, their smiles, and their kisses. Along with Amelia's 2 besties, and Craig's 2 besties. They have the vacation of their life time. But what happens when they return to the real world? Can they make it with their busy lives??

Considering the things that Amelia has overcome in her life, she's an AMAZING main character. She hasn't let life get her down, and yet she can't see what goodness she brings to the world. Craig sees it, and does his best to convince her.

CT...... fantastic book. Just fantastic. As I was reading Love of Truth, I could feel CT's determination come through in her writing as it does in her life. I knew when we started talking to one another that we would be fast friends and I was so right. You did an exceptional job on this one and I can't wait to read the next. <3

Love of Truth is the beginning of a series. And these days, what book isn't?? We find more cliffhangers than we do stand-alones. To me, it just gives me something more to look forward to. CT Oliver is a graduate student and a professor, she's doing her best to get the followup to Love of Truth entitled Truth out by Winter 2014. Be patient. I have a feeling Craig and Amelia are going to be worth it.

Interview w/ CT Oliver~ 

TTP~ How do you balance everything you have going on in your personal life and writing?

CT~I started writing as a way of releasing stress. It was something I enjoyed and if there are things in life that you enjoy, you make time for it.

TTP~Where did you come up with Amelia & Craig and all the fun stuff they got into? And who was your inspiration for the two of them.

CT~I have always loved the name Amelia. I think it's a pretty name that's underused these days. I picked the name Craig, Cory and Charles because they all started with the letter C and I think that Craig is a strong name. I wanted Craig to be a strong male character that's also caring because that's what Amelia needed. She didn't come from a caring family like Craig's. As for the fun things that they do, that reflects some of the things that I do up and down the west coast. I surf, hike, and rock climb. Though, I'm not as good at it as my characters are. I don't think I had anything that inspired me to create these characters, I think just wrote what I thought fit. If that makes sense.

TTP~ If Love of Truth was made into a movie, Who would play the Characters? (not Gandy!! haha)

CT~ GAH!! I don't know!! LOL

TTP~Do you have any odd quirks or things you must do or listen to as you write? what kind of environment do you prefer?

CT~Oddly, I listen to classical music when I write. I think it calms me. I learned that I can't write elsewhere, just at my desk at home. Nothing is stranger when writing about a blow job when a kid is running back and forth in front of you at the local coffee shop.

TTP~ You are keeping your writing a secret from your family, Why is that?

CT~ Culturally I don't think that my family can accept it. They're very tradition in ways. Also it's something that I think my family doesn't see future in. Also, I'm applying to graduate school and it's a very competitive and judgmental environment, so for the time being it's best if I just write under my pen name.

TTP~ You are so well-rounded... You're Asian and you read/write/speak Vietnamese, French, & English. You work out at the gym, participate in runs, you're a professor and a graduate student and now a writer. How the hell do you do it all?

CT~ I don't know... I don't like to be be underestimated.
