**Review** I am Atlas ~ Ella Emerson

A whirlwind romance that isn't your typical love story. Love, deceit, corruption, and betrayal all twist together to create a perfect story that will stand the test of time.

Powerful, wealthy, wildly handsome Atlas has it all: successful company, stunning penthouse, and all the women and fun he could want. But when he meets the brilliant, graceful and mesmerizing Gwen, he is thunderstruck and wants to go to great lengths to have her, even if it means breaking his own rules and baring his secret soul.

When his livelihood is threatened by a competing rival, he must prepare for a corporate battle. But, with Gwen at his side he knows he will not lose.

But, what if she isn’t who he thought she was? What if nothing is as it seems?
Will Atlas lose everything?

How far is one man willing to go for the woman he loves?

This is a standalone novel, which can be read by itself. It is part of the PLAYING GOD series and some of the characters will appear in JUST AN ECHO releasing soon.

Atlas is a one man show. Yes, he has his right hand, for whom he'd be lost without. He also has his enemies. Those that want to be him. Those that wish to over throw his empire. For the man that seemly has everything. There is one thing he doesn't. Then she walks in. Gwen is stunning. She captures him instantly. There's just something about her that draws him. As their love grows, outside forces tremble their foundation. Everything is at stake. Chimera, Inc. Lives all around him. Gwen.

The question is... Can Atlas find the man behind the mask and save everything he loves?

Ella Emerson is a new to me author. And I'm fascinated. I want a peek inside her brain. Holy crap. The twists and turns. The unexpected surprises. I Am Atlas is such an amazing novel. There have been few that have struck me as this one did. Ella creates such complex characters. We can see and feel their emotions as the words dance across the pages of her work. Ella has gained a huge follower here. I can't wait to see what else she brings to the Indie World.

If you haven't read I Am Atlas yet... I'm waiting for your feedback. I guarantee your jaw will hit the ground.

Ella Emerson lives in Florida with her husband and three wonderful children. When she isn't writing you can find her watching movies or playing games with her children. She loves to read, write and eat pizza. A true lover of the beach, she enjoys the sun, surf, sand and sea. She also is a huge fan of the cinema and enjoys crazy 80's chick flicks. She was raised a military brat, and has seen her fair share of the world. She loves using her own experiences and turning them into lovely romantic tales.
In high school she discovered her love for reading, and even had one of her poems published in a national magazine. She continues to read, write, review and hopefully she can become an inspiration to her own children, as well as others.

**Review** Redesigning Fate ~ A.M. Wilson

◆ Redesigning Fate by AM Wilson ◆

I left everything behind in order to be free. I should have known better than to think it would be so easy. All it took was one day at my new job.

He came for me.

I used a stranger to deter him, and in doing so, realized my heart began to beat again. Elias Brooks put me back together after Travis Dawson tore me apart. Travis makes it everybody's business that I belong to him, including Elias, but he couldn’t be more wrong.

He’s stalking me.

I’m afraid he’s come back to hurt me again. He promises he’s not. Travis pleads he’s only trying to keep me safe from none other than Elias.

Who do I trust? Fate led me down the wrong path before. Who’s to say it won’t happen again?

This was the first book I have read by Author A.M. Wilson, and I need more!!

Redesigning Fate isn't your typical romance. I wouldn't even go as far as to say it's angsty.

Marlena, freshly out of a very abusive relationship, is ready to move on with her life, and move on from Travis. She never anticipated he would seek her out. She never anticipated he would attempt to wiggle his way into her day to day life. She never anticipated that he wouldn't let her go.

Elias, being in the right place at the right time, is allowed an inside peek at the real Marlene. The fear that surrounds her when Travis finds her. All of his protective instincts flair to life. She brought him into her world, now he refuses to leave her to fend for herself.

But after the pain that Travis inflicted, how can she trust Elias not to do the same? What is Elias hiding? She barely survived Travis, will she be able to survive Elias?

A.M. Wilson has a new reader to add to her database. I fell in love with her writing style in this novel. She has the ability to capture her reads within the first pages of RF. Complex characters are an understatement in this author's world. So many twists and turns, I never quite knew where each page was going to take me. This blogger is anxiously awaiting the next book in this series.

A.M. Wilson fell in love with writing in second grade when she won a young writers' contest. She spent the years following carrying around a spiral notebook, which she filled with poetry and short stories detailing the dramatics of being a young girl. When she hit her college years, she set the notebooks down and fell in love with reading romance novels. She may have attended college four separate times, in four different fields, but always knew in her heart writing was her true passion. She
grew up in Duluth, Minnesota and spent her summers in the cold waters of Lake Superior, but relocated to the Twin Cities with the love of her life and has two spirited children who make her world go round.

**Review** Tell Me Something ~ Aubrey Bondurant

Title: Tell Me Something
Author: Aubrey Bondurant
Genre: Contemporary Erotic Romance
Availability: Released 6/29/15
Length: 432 pages
HEA: YES
Standalone/Series: Stand alone book-no cliffhanger-first in the "Something Series" which are about other characters

The sexual tension is palpable; the erotic path they’re on is inevitable.

Haylee Holloway has experienced more grief than a twenty-two year old should have to endure. When she moves to LA for a fresh start and takes a job as an assistant for an advertising company the last thing she expects is to have to step in last minute during a photo shoot as the model. Her bikini line and weight are suddenly open topics of discussion, and a client’s million dollar campaign is hanging in the balance. To cap it off, the multi-millionaire, gorgeous owner of the company shows up and takes charge.

Josh Singer, the owner of Gamble Advertising is private, intense, and hard to read. His voice is sexy, his eyes are smoldering and when he learns of Haylee’s goal to save money for law school, he makes her an offer she can’t refuse:

To move to New York City and work for him directly as his assistant.

Haylee’s dilemma: how does she travel the world with a hot boss whose voice alone conjures up an erotic fantasy and not completely make a fool of herself? Frustrated with Josh’s mixed signals, Haylee finally puts it all on the line. Blurring both their professional and personal lives can they keep things temporary as planned or will they both realize some things weren’t meant to end?

I retrieved cash out of my purse and felt his eyes on me. Looking at his expression, I could tell he was amused that I was going to pay. “You’re driving me home and just gave me forty thousand dollars I didn’t have yesterday, the least I can do is treat you for a junk food dinner,” I insisted.

I had expected him to be stubborn, but instead he accepted my twenty, giving it to the teenage girl who could only stare dumbly.

Yeah I know how it feels honey, he is way out of both of our leagues.

As he handed me my change, I felt his hand on mine and thought it unfair that I be so affected while he was going through the normal motions.

“So, do you want to eat in the parking lot, go back to your place, or we can go to my hotel room?” He must have noticed my stunned look as he hastily added, “I didn’t mean that the way it sounded, I meant— You know what, why don’t we just pull over here?” He parked the car on the far side of the lot. “I didn’t mean to make you feel uncomfortable, Haylee.” His voice was quiet.

I was half torn between ripping into my cheeseburger and wanting to unbuckle his pants and devour him. I doubted either of those scenarios was in the business etiquette handbook.

“You aren’t. I knew what you were asking and considering traffic, I think eating here is preferable. I’m starving.”

He seemed to relax as we both dug into our burgers and I tried to remember my manners.

“Well what do you think?” I asked.

“It’s good. Is this your go-to place for dinner?”

“Ah, no, can’t keep my size six, still-too-fat-for-modeling figure, going out here every night.”

He chuckled thankfully, with an appreciation for my sarcasm.

“It’s more comfort food after a long hard day with no workout planned after. Slug food.”

He quirked a brow.

“You know, slugging on the couch after junk-induced food coma?”

He seemed to find that humorous. “When are you going to law school?”

Well, that was quite a change in subject. “I’m hoping next year in the fall.” I was feeling better by the minute as I started on my fries.

“Why are you waiting?”

He seemed sincerely interested but I really didn’t want to make it about money. This was a man who wouldn’t understand having to save up for something. “I had a lot going on right after graduation and I wanted to work for a year first.”

He frowned at my vague answer. “Do you like working for Warren?”

I stopped chewing and swallowed hard. Warren was a bully around the office and I wasn’t particularly fond of him. But Josh was his boss, and one of the traits I held dear was loyalty so I answered carefully. “He’s good at his job and well respected in the industry. He’s professional and works hard.”

He appeared disappointed by my response. “You do know that he wasn’t going to pay you for today, right?”

My breath caught. I had suspected that Josh had everything to do with the payday, but hearing the confirmation made me a little sick to my stomach. Warren hadn’t seemed appreciative of me stepping in at all. Knowing his personality, he probably thought of it as an extension of my job duties to fill in when requested.

“Mr. Singer, I’m not sure what you expect me to say. I’m not surprised if that is what you’re after. However I don’t think it is appropriate for me to discuss my feelings on the matter with his boss and the owner of the company.”

“I admire your loyalty, Haylee. Warren has been through five assistants in the last three years. I’m well aware of his reputation. But you’re right, he works hard for me and works harder for his clients so I can excuse his lack of soft skills most of the time. You started calling me Mr. Singer again by the way.”

My head was spinning. “All right, Josh.” I put emphasis on his first name. “Why did you ask me if I like working for Warren?”

“Well that leads me to what I wanted to discuss with you.”

My palms started to sweat. Isn’t this where in the book he proposed an affair or arrangement whereby I went back to his hotel room to see what exactly was under that suit?

“I want you to work for me.”

In my mind that sentence ended with as my personal sex slave, but in reality I realized he was proposing a real job. “Uh, what?” was my eloquent response.

“I want you to come to New York and work as my second assistant. Nigel has been with me a number of years and is the best in the business, however he has a personal situation currently that precludes him from traveling with me and he needs to be out of the office from time to time to address it. I would need you in New York most of the time, but then also to travel with me. Matter of fact, we would leave for Cancun on Wednesday.”

I was stunned. “I would move to New York?

What does Haylee do when the world falls in her lap? She's assistant to a pita of a man, who treats her like shes stupid. However, one fateful day, she's in the right place at the right time. Handed a modeling gig that shoots her to possible stardom, in front of THE hottest guy she's ever seen; who also happens to be her boss' boss. Yea she can do this. Josh just so happens to make all her dreams come true. But... as with anything that sounds too good to be true, he also brings out the good, bad, and ugly.
Haylee isn't your typical woman. She's been through hell and back in the past couple of years, and coping? Yea, not so much.

Josh is an enigma all his own. Josh Singer is the, way too young owner of everything that is Gamble. He's quite used to being taken advantage of, being taken for his looks alone... so when fresh faced Haylee waltzed into his life, he was shaken to his core. Dealing with his own set of betrayals, Josh is broken. He knows he can't be with Haylee simply due to the lines between employer/employee, however, Haylee refuses to make it easy on him. She makes him take responsibility for his actions & his words.

Here's the thing about Tell Me Something...

Aubrey created these two amazingly complex characters, and complex they are. In a way that each and every reader can relate to. Haylee and Josh each have their own individual issues, that control them, and it shapes who they are as people and you can definitely see how it affects the relationships around them. Each of them must learn to deal with the hands they have been dealt in order to keep their relationship alive. She truly did a phenomenal job with these two characters. I can't wait to read Brian and Sasha's book, as I'm certain more sparks are going to fly!!

For a debut novel, Aubrey Bondurant got this one perfectly!! Well done!!

Aubrey Bondurant loves to write, read and travel. She’s former military and lives on the East Coast with her husband and boys. She has an affinity for big drooly dogs and a great margarita!

When she isn’t working full time at her day job, she puts fingers to keyboard to craft a story. She finally decided to publish one of her many “unfinished stories” before she turned the big 4-0. (She may have missed that by a tad), but has finally fulfilled that dream with her debut novel, Tell Me Something. She calls her style of writing a cross between chick lit and erotic romance or “dirty chick lit”.

She is currently working on the next book in the “Something Series” with Ask Me Something due out by the end of 2015. She loves the idea of a HEA with each book and sequels for the intention of giving the supporting characters a story of their own.

***REVIEW*** Rubble and the Wreckage ~ A Gabriel Church Tale ~ Rodd Clark ~ Kat's Review ~

Gabriel Church knows you can’t take a life without first understanding just how feeble life is, how tentative and weak it stands alone. If you desire murder, you hold a life in your hand.
Whether you release it to grant life or
grip tighter to end it, it is at your command and discretion. Gabriel is a serial killer with a story he wants told.

Christian Maxwell studied abnormal psychology in college but chose instead to focus on a career in writing. His background comes in handy when he thinks of writing about a serial killer. He can’t think of anyone more qualified to write the story of Gabriel Lee Church, and do so in the murderer’s own words. It’s been done before, but never with a killer who has yet to be captured or convicted.

There was never anything more than a gentleman’s understanding between the two men that Christian would record Gabriel’s life story. The killer did not ask for his complicity in any crimes, nor did he ever ask for his silence. Christian’s interest in the man, though, is fast becoming something more than academic. When the writer and his subject become unexpected friends and then lovers, the question remains:

What is Gabriel’s endgame . . . and why
does he want his story told?

STOP. Don't do as I first did and say, "I don't think I can read this book." It sounds like a harsher book than it is. Yes, there is a psychological thriller aspect to it, but mostly, it is a love story.  Yes, some character's die in the book, but not in a gruesome way. Trust me when I say, the author handled it with as much class as possible for the subject matter.
*****
Author Rodd Clark grabs your interest quickly in this book and never let's you go. Written in omnipresent, you get the up-close and personal feel of each and every character. I loved that! I was never lost when going from character to character. Mr. Clark worked that beautifully.

Mr. Clark's writing style is eloquent and very well put together when describing each and every scene. While there is sex in the book, it isn't graphic. The descriptions are enough to give you the feel of what is going on,  but not enough for you to picture each and every detail in every scene. Some sex scenes are more graphically told than other's but never to the "nth" degree. It is like he means to give Christian and Gabriel privacy; and he did.

There are some Christian themes that carry through the book, not as lessons, only through Gabriel's life. As you may have also noticed, even Christian's and Gabriel's names are biblical.

Reading the book, I get the sense that Mr. Clark is a very well educated man and knows a lot about psychology. Whether he is self-taught or took courses in it, I wouldn't know, but he has had some education of some sort to be able to write such a deep, well thought out, eloquent book.

This book is definitely a must read if you like M/M romance, psychological thrillers and can stand it if some characters die in the book.

5 Stars!

***Blog Tour w/Review *** OTIS ~ Selected Sinners MC Book III ~ Scott Hildreth ~ Amy's Review ~

OTIS: Selected Sinners MC Book III  from Scott Hildreth is LIVE and #1 in FIVE (5) Categories!!!

Title: OTIS
Author: Scott Hildreth
Series: Selected Sinners MC Book III
Release Date: June 9th, 2015
Cover Artist: Jessica Hildreth

SAMANTHA (SAM)

The only man I've ever loved stepped aside and let me go 15 years ago because I wanted to start a family. After moving as far away from him as possible, I now must return home for my mother's funeral. The problem with going home is I'm single and I'm still deeply in love with Otis. Seeing him and not acting on my feelings would be impossible, so my plan is to slip into town, take care of my deceased mother's affairs, and slip out unnoticed.

One drink should settle my nerves...

OTIS

I'm the 6'-5" tattooed bad-ass that protects my 32 brothers in the Selected Sinners MC. An undercover ATF agent has infiltrated our MC and threatens the security of our club. Determining which of my brothers is the snitch and undoubtedly destined for his grave is my only focus. My only current love is the MC - I let the only woman I've ever loved other than my mother slip away when I was 21 because I young and selfish. I'm 36 now, single, and plan on staying that way.

Not finding the snitch is driving me insane, I need a drink...

One unscheduled moment between Otis and Sam could prove disastrous.

Or, it could rekindle a flame that has always been flickering - a second chance at a first love...

"Being inseparable doesn't define true love. Being separated and having nothing change between you, however, does."

AUTHORS NOTE: OTIS is a stand-alone MC Erotic Romance with no cheating, no sharing partners, and a HEA. Be forewarned, the main characters in this book are both agoraphiliacs. They enjoy sex in public places, especially if they think someone's watching. OTIS is Book III in a series of true stand-alone MC Romance novels. No other book is required to enjoy this tale. The two previous book may be read as stand-alones or together fully understand the complexity of the ancillary characters.

The words that Scott Hildreth chooses to fill a page with never cease to amaze me. After I've consumed one of his books, I often wonder to myself just how much of what I just read is things he has experienced. And Holy WOW, was he a lawyer in his former life or what? Where the heck did that come from??

Ok, so Otis...

I have to admit. Otis was not one of my favorite characters in the previous two novels. I honestly don't know why. I, honestly, wasn't expecting to like Otis as much as I do. You know that old thing, it's the quiet ones you gotta worry about? Oh, Yes. Otis to a T. Otis isn't in a relationship because no one stacks up to his girl Sam. No one ever has, nor ever will. He's known this, and has accepted it. Biggest mistake he ever made was walking away from her. His one regret in life.

Sam is struggling with her day-to-day life, as memories upon memories assault her at every single turn. Being back in Wichita was enough in and of itself, add in the house, her mother, each box she uncovers, she doesn't know if she would ever be able to walk away.

Walking right back into each others arms, time may have passed but their hearts never moved on. Their bodies, minds, & souls sync. Back where they belong. I love that Sam and Steve hold nothing back from one another. They jump head first into their fiery all consuming love, and hold onto one another for dear life.

There's zero question of their need and commitment to one another. Picking right back up with their interesting exhibitionist habits, Sam & Steve will have you, the reader, squirming in your pants.

I mentioned in my previous review - Taking the Heat - I was rather upset with Scott because he left me hanging with one scene. I knew he would pick it up and take care of that storyline for me. I never had any doubts!! And he certainly did it justice. Phew. Can't wait to hear more about Big Jack.

OH and.... Frankly. Keep your significant other RIGHT NEXT TO YOU. This one is guaranteed to make your panties wet, and produce quite a bit of action. I personally wouldn't be surprised to see a baby boom in 9 months. ;)
