Sugar Rush was phenomenal. Belle successfully encompassed all that is Max - his flirting, his love of food, his love of women, and his love for his daughter. We got to see the other side of Max as well. His fear of love, and being trampled again. His intense hatred for Maddy and what she did to him and to CeeCee.
Seeing CeeCee blossom into a young woman through the words of Belle has been such a great adventure. And it's shown me the struggles a parent faces when their child has a handicap. <3
Helena, sister of Nat, is an interesting little bird. Strong and fierce, yet held back by her career in which she doesn't want to lose sight of her goals. She's got the quirky, weird sense of humor we found in Nat in the previous novels of the series, and it's quite comical to see those two go head to head. She has a soft side, that side in which very few people see and get to know.
There's so much more I could say about this novel, this series, but really? Pick them up for yourself. Not just this one but Tina & Nik's story, Nat & Asher's story. You'll be hooked and reading them over and over again.
