**Review** Misunderstandings ~ Tiffany King

Just when she thought things were going up…

Two years after a devastating breakup, Brittni Mitchell has moved on from Justin Avery—or so she tells herself. But when she returns to Seattle for her best friend’s engagement party, Brittni finds herself the victim of a disastrously timed elevator breakdown. She’s trapped with the last person she wants to face, and forced to recount the past she desperately wants to forget.

She’s going to have to look back…

When Brittni left her podunk hometown for a big city college experience at the University of Washington, hooking up with a guy like Justin Avery was not part of her plan. Between Justin’s attention-grabbing tattoos, cigarette smoking, and bad boy attitude Brittni quickly chalked him up as "Mr. Wrong.” But his charm was unrelenting, and Brittni’s decision to give Justin a chance quickly turned into the worst choice she ever made.

So that she might be able to move forward.

Now she’s stuck with Justin—literally—and the complicated web of misunderstandings that tied up the truth for two years is about to unravel.

Misunderstandings is the first piece of work by Tiffany King that I have had the pleasure of reading. She now has a new faithful fan. Misunderstandings takes it's reader on a journey from the present to the past and back again. All based on how one relationship can blossom, thrive, and collapse based on Misunderstandings.

Brittni loves college life. Livin' it up at UW, she's focused, driven, and desperate to succeed passed her small town she came from. She never expected to meet Justin. She certainly never expected to be attracted to his cocky, tatted self. Falling in love with him, not even close to being on her radar. But she did, she was, and it happened. As Justin turned up the charm, Brittni felt her walls crumble. So much so that when everything shattered around her, there was no saving her.

Now 2 years later, she's inadvertently stuck in an elevator with the one person she hoped to not run into. As the past comes barreling towards her, can they clear the air and move on with their lives?

Tiffany King is a masterful writer, her characters are strong, independent, quick witted, and sexy as all get out. I generally am not a fan of story's that start in the present and tumbled through a wicked past, but Tiffany has changed that with Misunderstandings. I urge you to check out this amazing story, you will not be disappointed. <3
