**Review** It Happened One Wedding ~ Julie James

SHE KNOWS BETTER THAN TO SAY “I DO”

After a humiliating end to her engagement, investment banker Sidney Sinclair is done with commitment-phobic men. But when her sister winds up engaged after a whirlwind courtship, she’s thrown in to close contact with exactly the kind of sexy playboy she wants to avoid—the gorgeous best man. She’s stuck with him, for better or worse, until her sister walks down the aisle, but that doesn’t mean she has to give in to his smooth advances, no matter how tempting they are…

BUT HE MAKES IT HARD TO SAY “I DON’T”

Special Agent Vaughn Roberts always gets his man on the job and his woman in bed. So Sidney’s refusal to fall for his charms only makes him more determined to win over the cool and confident redhead. Only what starts out as a battle of wills ends up as a serious play for her heart. Because the one woman who refuses to be caught may be the only one Vaughn can’t live without…

**ARC provided by Penguin/Berkley via Netgalley in exchange of an honest review**

This is sexy, sweet read where the old cliche "Once bitten, twice shy" comes into play. Sidney is the hard working director of a private equity firm. She's no-nonsense and has no trouble "busting the balls" of any smart mouthed man who tried to steer her off track. I love that about her. She will no be bowled over by anyone. While she has this hardcore professional image, she's really a squishy, lonely teddy bear on the inside. She wants love, she misses being in a relationship, she just refuses to settle for less than she believes she deserves. Checklist in hand, she watch man after man fail at living up to her expectations.

Vaughn is a special agent with the FBI, and the best man of the wedding. A perfectionist in the art of discovering the truth. He's handsome, cocky, know-it-all, and everything she is not looking for. Vaughn and Sidney are thrust together to help make wedding magic happen for his brother and her sister. Now if only they can keep their hands off one another.

Julie James has brought us an amazing new novel that sheds light on celebrating one wedding while mourning the loss of another. And how that what you think you want, isn't necessarily what you need. I have a new author to add to my growing list and I am off to scour Amazon to see what else of hers I can find!
