For me music is the window to the soul.
I received this book in exchange for an honest review.
This one may just strike a chord with some of you so I'm going to say this right up front .... go download this passionate love story as soon as you're finished reading my review!
The story of a smart, beautiful young woman,Chelsea has decided to live a life she never wanted. Knowing things have taken a downward spiral in her lack luster marriage she remains faithful, loyal and even loving  (To a point)
Always the people pleasure she has let her hope and dreams be crushed and  belittled by a man (hubby) she can hardly stand to be close to anymore!
Don't get me wrong things have happen to make this relationship "strained "
to say the least but I'm not giving that information away!
Wesley and Chelsea should have called it quits well before things became so out of control.
This is where I feel in love with this story .... if you know me then your aware of my love for everything music. Author Eliza Boyd has brought the emotion of country music to life! Who doesn't wanna be loved like a county song???
Pulling herself out of the poor pitiful shell she has been unknowing shoved Into Chelsea forms a plan to regain some semblance of her former self. Making a few friends is a wonderful place to start. Little did she know life was 'bout to become complicated. (Inter hot country music singer with a heart of pure gold)
Does she take a chance on spending some time with a stranger or continue to be the pleasure shes been programmed to be? I think you'll be surprised with the way this women regains her belief in her worth! Yes... she has help! *wink*
Okay I'm just going to stop here before I give it all away. However ...
I must add a few complements.  Like I said before the level of emotion was through the roof amazing and coupled with the current hits songs that are what I felt key moments in the story line Eliza Boyd has a huge hit on her hands!
That, and showing us that we should always follow our hearts. And mostly that we all should live and love for ourselves and to NEVER. EVER. SETTLE.  for less!
Five stars from this country girl!
Cant wait to read the next one. (Make a change book #2)

I loved, loved, loved this book.  Eliza Boyd did an amazing job capturing all kinds of emotions with these characters. This book is fast paced, but well written.  Chelsea is a girl that married young and found herself in an emotionally and verbally abusive relationship. Wesley, her husband will soon realize the mistake that was made years before is what has destroyed their relationship. She found the strength to walk away from a bad situation with the help and support of Brett. Brett is the knight in shining armor that appears a little to perfect, until you know his secrets. Stevie and Mayra are the two girls who become everything you would want in best friends. The story shows that with hope and determination you can recover from an abusive relationship. The author did an excellent job intertwining the lives of the characters. I look forward to the next book.
