When you fall head over heals for an author and anything he/she writes, you grow a certain anticipation for what they could possibly give you next. This book was a highly anticipated one from the stand-point of whose story it is.
It's no secret, The Walkers and Alluring Indulgence series is by far my favorite series of Nicole Edwards and to finally get Curtis' story was 3 years waiting well worth it!
Curtis and Lori have the family and the love everyone dreams of. Love. Devotion. Strength. Values. And they have instilled every single one of these values in all of their boys! The most important value though is LOVE!
From the beginning, Curtis just knew he was going to make Lori his whether the clueless little girl knew it or not.
50 years later, and that love, devotion. strength and values still shine through. And Curtis has got it going on! Even at the ripe young age of 70! Holy smoking sheets!!! I can only hope and pray to be as lucky as Lori is when I reach that age.
This is again the start of an amazing spin off series Nicole is giving us and I can guarantee you will feel every emotion through this wonderful story just as I did.
