**Blog Tour with Review** My Time in The Affair ~ Stylo Fantome ~ Jennifer's Review ~

my time in the affair

~Mischa~
I made a conscious decision to cheat on my husband.

Now, before you judge me, hear my story. Hear how much I'm like you, how similar my thoughts are to your own. Yes, I'm a horrible person. Yes, I've done horrible things. Yes, I don't deserve forgiveness. Yes, bad things happened because of my actions.

But I'm willing to bet I've done things that maybe, just maybe, you have thought of doing.

Maybe, just maybe, you're not as innocent as you'd like to think.

Or maybe I'm not so guilty ...

WARNING: This book involves CHEATING. The word AFFAIR is in the title. The main character has an AFFAIR. In the synopsis (directly above), she states that she intentionally has an AFFAIR. If you don't like CHEATING, then you have been VERY WELL warned. Also, this book is primarily written in the third-person narrative.

I received a copy of My Time In the Affair in exchange for a honest review.

Brilliant ...

Let me start off by getting this out of the way... Do not judge this book by its title!

I know a lot of readers may be turned off by the thoughts of reading about an elicit affair. This is NOT that story!!!!!

Author Stylo Fantome has the ability to draw you into her stories with real life situations and characters that are not just believable but somehow seem to hit a cord with, or pull a feeling or deep hidden emotion from your heart and soul!

Her style of writing is mostly third person POV and it totally WORKS!

While hurting someone you love isn't an easy thing to do, sometimes it is absolutely necessary ! That's where we find Mischa. Married to her best friend. Oh, you know the one... met in college, worked together, hung out together, had the same friends. Of course they should be perfect for each other, grow old together.... Wrong. Wrong. Wrong.

Trying to convince her husband, Mike, that all was not well on the home front was becoming futile. Being oblivious was so much easier than dealing with the problems that were pushing his beautiful wife into another man's arms and eventually into another man's heart!

Being the top seller in her insurance office had her boss, Peter, (you will hate Peter) demanding her expertise in helping to open new offices abroad (Think Rome.)

Perfect .... Mischa forms a plan to get her body and spirit back to where it once was and then get some much needed attention from the opposite sex!

Was she a cheater?

Maybe.... the closer she came to actually doing "the deed" the more her brain told her to stop. She most certainly was not the kind of woman to have an affair.

It wasn't in her to hurt the people she cared about and that absolutely included her husband.

So you know that 'ol saying Karma is a bitch? (Thought you might)
Well, Karma has a sister named Fate and you 'ain't seen BITCH yet !!!!!!!!

Cheating was one thing. Falling into a love so deep it hurt was a completely different monster. Tal was that love. Oh... Tal had it going on. Tall, dark handsome, knight-in-shining-armor. Just what Mischa wanted ????

I'm not gonna tell you because, let's face it, that's not my job!
My job is to intrigue you... make you want to read this amazing love story ...

(Trust me you want too)

I was blown away. I don't even have the words to express the emotional pull My Time In The Affair will have on you. *wiping a tear away as I giggle just a little bit* (you have to read it to understand that one) *wink*

5 of the biggest brightest stars for MTITA!
STYLO YOU ROCKED IT AGAIN.

Stylo Fantome
Crazy woman living in an undisclosed location in Alaska (where the need for a creative mind is a necessity!), I have been writing since ..., forever? Yeah, that sounds about right. I have been told that I remind people of Lucille Ball - I also see shades of Jennifer Saunders, and Denis Leary.

So basically, I laugh a lot, I'm clumsy a lot, and I say the F-word A LOT.

I like dogs more than I like most people, and I don't trust anyone who doesn't drink. No, I do not live in an igloo, and no, the sun does not set for six months out of the year, there's your Alaska lesson for the day. I have mermaid hair - both a curse and a blessing - and most of the time I talk so fast, even I can't understand me.

Yeah. I think that about sums me up.
