Amy's Thoughts ~
I absolutely loved this book. Vi Keeland delivers one more time. No surprise there, she's a fabulous author. Worth the Fight has everything we need in a book. Strong, stand-on-her-own-two-feet, Intelligent Elle - who is a hard-working attorney. Uber sexy, Alpha MMA fighter - aptly name "The Lady Killer" Nico. Do we need anything else?
Oh, wait, yes, a little bit of self hate. And the key to washing it all away. ;)
Elle feels herself come alive at first glance of Nico. Her body responds, and she quite frankly doesn't know what to think about it. And shouldn't think about it. But she can't stop. William who? Elle finds herself getting more satisfaction out of one glance of Nico than she ever does with William. That says something doesn't it?
Nico wants her. He needs to have her. But why would she accept him? He can't even look at himself in the mirror why would she? He can't control the past, but seems to think he's ready to face the future. He spends his days mentally and physically preparing for his first MMA fight in months, now he has another distraction to deal with. The question is, is can he balance it? Can Elle handle him and all that that entails?
I, again, loved this book. I couldn't put it down, read it all in one setting. I think my husband even threatened divorce that day, but I can't really remember. Vi Keeland never fails to pull me into her novels. I gotta make sure my house is in order before I start page one! This book will make you laugh, cry, get angry, and swoon. Check it out, I promise you won't be disappointed!! <3
