Crashed

Danielle A. Elwood

Synopsis~

Emily Taylor is a twenty-six year old event planner who has made a career out of dating; with the majority of it ending up as a complete nightmare. She is driven, motivated, and rising to the top in her career…but not in her love life. However, a random car accident will change her life forever.

Avery Martin is a country boy stuck in the city working his dream job of being a fire fighter. Over the years he has given up a lot, including dating, to focus on his career. Responding to a car accident one day he becomes overly involved with the woman he is rescuing.

Will these two find love, or will amnesia cost them the future they might have had?

Amy's Thoughts~

For me this book was what I like to call a "whirlwind".  It was indeed a whirlwind romance. A sweet, light, quick read. I do not discount the fact that whirlwind romances happen, they do.

Emily Taylor, heads to work one day and unfortunately in a car accident. Dazed and confused, she clings to the firefighter who rescues her.

Avery Martin swears he's not looking for a relationship, but something about Emily grabs him. He goes back to check on her, next thing he knows, he can't stop thinking about her.

Avery is a very strong MC, I enjoyed that in this book. He knew how to have a good time, he knew where his life was headed and what he wanted. Emily, while still little lost in life and clung to only what she knew, she was a sweetheart of a MC. Avery helps Emily become the person she wanted to be but didn't have the nerve to do so on her own. This, again, is a sweet love story. Yes, it has it's bits of problems, but for the most part, it's a book that most people could relate to in one way or another.
