Aside from being blind to the fact his best friend, Maxx Hughes, is madly in love with him, Logan 'Unbreakable' Kellar has it made.
He's the best amateur fighter at TKO, has a buffet line of women desperate to be taken by him, and three friends that are his family. However, when Maxx crosses over from Logan's blind spot on the side lines to the dead center of his vision, he realizes that he can't stay blind to the fact this girl, is the girl.

Maxx and Logan have been best friends since they were kids. They both lost their parents at a young age and were befriended by brother and sister Luke and Erin. However, their parents were complete opposites. Maxx's parents were loving. Logan's father was an alcoholic who beat Logan and his mother--eventually killing her and then himself.
Now in their 20s, the four live together. Logan is a fighter. Maxx is the Event Coordinator at the fight club. Maxx wants nothing more than to take their relationship to the next level. Logan has nothing but one night stands because he thinks he will be like his father and hurt Maxx if they take that step. The book ends with him contemplating giving their relationship a shot.
The book flowed easily and was interesting. The characters are flawed but the book isn't brooding. I liked that. There is humor, also. It didn't go into any details of the fights themselves, which to me was a huge plus. All the supporting characters are interesting and strong enough to be featured in future books. I hope they are.
The only thing I found strange was Maxx and Logan talking to the reader. However, the author pulled it off without it being distracting.
I recommend reading this book. I gave it 4.5 stars. I am going to read the second book, Deaf.
