Am I glad I read this trilogy? YES I AM.
With the exception of sometimes being a little wordy, let me tell you some things I found note worthy and exceptional about this book that made it standout, without giving spoilers.
So, many times other author's choose to make a situation out to be too "angsty" that isn't even reasonable. Sarah and Jonas are reasonable people, so it would have been totally out of their character if the author had taken a situation and fueled it even more, like so many other authors have done in their books. Lauren knew exactly when to stop. Bravo! She let us stew just a little, but then she knew when to let reason win out and not let it go too far.
Lauren did research and talk to the right people to try to get facts straight. With the subject matter, she needed it. Some of the subject matter wasn't something she could just pull out of her brain and make it realistic. Bravo for that!
The heat! OMG! I love the heat and sizzle of this book...the series! This couple was on fire! Not too much...not too little! Perfect.
The back story. The way she wove the back stories of Jonas and Sarah in was perfect. It just fit to make you understand so much about the hot alpha yet, sensitive, poetic man of Jonas and the kick-ass take-charge, intelligent woman of Sarah. So, the writing style is spot on.
Now, I see some more books coming for Jonas' twin, Josh and Sarah's friend Kat. Maybe Henn thrown in there too? Who knows. But I do want to read those books if she has those in the works.
