A girl with a dark history…
Avery Bresllin took a leap of faith when she changed her name. As Avery Patterson, she is no longer the daughter of a serial killer. No longer the girl who was bullied and abused through high school. A fresh name and a fresh start at Columbia University means Avery can leave all that behind. There’s only one thing marring her dream of a clean slate….
A boy with a past of his own…
Luke Reid has a lot going for him: sex appeal, badass tattoos and insane musical talent. Despite his guitar skills, his calling in life has always been to serve and protect. A NYPD cop by day, singer in rock band D.M.F by night, from the outside Luke seems like he’s got it made. But falling for a girl whose father was accused of deeply sinister acts—a man whom Luke shared a devastating history with, himself—only serves to complicated things.
Pieces of a puzzle….
Four symbols, four methods of destruction.
A trade.
Borrowed wings.
Dark secrets that threaten to destroy.

I received a copy of Winter in exchange for an honest review.
Have you ever read a book that made your head spin?
I'm not sure where to place this one....
Is it a mystery or a suspense?
Maybe romance or a twisted tale of fate?
Whatever it was it had me captivated. I don't think I have ever wanted a book to end so badly!
Don't get me wrong I absolutely frickin' loved it!!!!!
However .... I was going completely bonkers. The suspense just kept building and piling on and on.... I was a bit overwhelmed with the entire plot but, oh, the ending was ABSOLUTELY WORTH IT!
When a small town is rocked with a multiple murderer and apparent suicide, it's the duty of rookie officer, Luck Reid, to help inform the family of his former mentor and saintly pillar of the community that the suspect involved is their loved one.
Hearing the news about her father, Iris/Avery's whole world comes crashing down around her. Now away at college with an alias and the determination to leave her family's past behind, the last thing she needed was to run Into "him"
That's right ... you guessed it Luke Reid!
He remains the face of that horrible day and it's also the face of the man who invades her dreams!
With the twists and turns and some moments of OH. MY. GOODNESS.
I think author Callie Hart/Frankie Rose has a mega hit in the "Four Seasons series."
I will definitely be reading the next installment (Summer.)
I'm giving this one a four star.

Callie/Frankie has experienced many changes throughout her life, and gone through many ups and downs that have all worked towards shaping and molding her into the person she is today: fun loving, active, social, and hard working. The only thing that has remained a constant throughout her life is writing. Creating characters who will tear your conscience in two is a favorite pastime of Callie’s. There are few real saints and sinners in her books; more often, the denizens of her stories are all very human. Broken, flawed, and always with the potential for redemption.
Despite the subject matter being markedly hot and heavy in comparison to the stories she wrote in elementary school, there will always be an element of fairy-tale to her work.
