When the Cavanaugh brothers return home for their father’s funeral, they discover unexpected evidence of the old man’s surprising double life—a son named Blue, who wants the Triple C Ranch as much as they do. The eldest son, Deacon, a wealthy businessman who couldn’t wait to leave the ranch and move on with his life, is looking to use his powerful connections to stop Blue at any cost. He never expected the ranch’s forewoman, Mackenzie Byrd, to get in his way.
Mac knows Deacon means to destroy the ranch and therefore destroy her livelihood. But as the two battle for control, their attraction builds. Now Deacon is faced with the choice of a lifetime: Take down the Triple C to feed his need for revenge, or embrace the love of the one person who has broken down every barrier to his heart.
As we all know, Laura Wright is an amazing author. She has several Best Sellers titles under her belt to prove it. So when she came out with The Cavanaugh Brothers, I had a feeling it was going to be awesome. I know there's nothing sexier than a cowboy who's not afraid to get his hands dirty.
As Deacon and his brothers return home for the funeral of their father, secrets are revealed - from more than one source. Secrets that have the power to bring the brothers to their knees. Secrets that are so monumental, they will shatter the image of one man. And have the potential to shatter a town.
Mac knows very little other than the Triple C has always been her home. First as a child, now as it's foreman. She will go to whatever lengths necessary to protect her livelihood from the one man who wants to torch the place. Even seduce him.
If you haven't checked out Branded, get on that. It's a twisting, sensual tale of what happens behind closed doors, even when the outside seems so perfect. Bravo Laura Wright, I can't wait to read the next book in the series. <3
I was born and raised in Minnesota. It’s where my love of all things green, wet and grown in the ground comes from. As you read above, before writing I was an actor, singer and dancer, specifically a BALLROOM dancer - an instructor and competitor as well. That work took me to many places like New York, Ohio and Wisconsin. I live in Los Angeles now, but I’m always thinking about greener pastures – literally.a Rafflecopter giveaway
