 When I read On the Rocks ~ Hunter's story and was introduced to Brody, I just knew his story was going to be amazing. I just didn't know how his story was going to play out. Sawyer Bennett once again showed her unprecedented story telling abilities and twisted us a heart breakingly, beautiful story that makes you want to crawl into it and hug the holy crap out of Brody. 

Brody. Shipped off to prison for 5 years, nows he's paid his price to society and trying his best to acclimate himself to being on the "outside". Working for his brother, making best friends with his parole officer, he still makes daily adjustments. At the insistence of his parole officer, he starts searching for the volunteer program, he must complete. Much to his dismay, it falls in his lap. And he has to work with her. 

Alyssa is everything Brody hates in this world about when. She's beautiful, she's spoiled, and she's rich. Alyssa has no clue why Brody hates her. But she can sure use his help at the rescue she's funded. Working side by side with the sexy man shouldn't be too difficult. Then she starts noticing little things. Little smiles, stares, hearing secrets she shouldn't be hearing. All of these things bring her and Brody closer. Can they make it to the same page? Can Brody trust her with his secret? Can she trust him with her heart? Can each of them rise above the challenges in their worlds and make sacrifices where needed? 

Gah!! I love this series. I love Sawyer Bennett. I love love LOVE Brody. Just writing this review makes me want to go read it again. Brody is a special kind of man, one that will make every single reader *swoon*. I want the next story now. ;)
