**Double Review** Birthday Wishes & All Wrapped Up ~ The List Books 1 & 2 ~ Braxton Cole

Mari meets Luca on an adult website. She’s still smarting from a divorce and only looking to explore her desires. They create wish lists of their sexual fantasies and agree to work through them together. No strings, no attachments, nothing but pleasure, and Mari anticipates their first meeting with impatience. But through a miscommunication involving a private text message and Mari’s nosy brother, Luca ends up at her 30th birthday party, before their planned rendezvous. Much to her surprise, they seem to connect better than she expected, and in ways she hadn’t expected. He’s strong, commanding, but also gentle and respectful and he makes her ache in ways she never thought possible.

But when Luca later expresses a desire for something more than just casual sex, Mari's impulse is to run the other way. After all, her failed marriage is evidence that she really shouldn’t go much deeper. Can Luca convince Mari otherwise? Can he help her see that he's her ultimate birthday wish come true?

Birthday Wishes is Book 1 in The List Series is intended for an adult audience only and contains mature themes, including graphic and explicit sex.

An erotic novella from author Braxton Cole that will have you rushing to change your panties.

Mari is ready to spice things up a bit with her 30th birthday on the horizon. She uses the internet ot setup a hook-up. After weeks of talking to Luca, setting boundaries, and making "lists", the night as come to reap the benefits of all their planning. One thing she never expected was Luca being everything she never knjew she wanted and the fireworks between them.

Braxton Cole did an amazing job with this short novella. I wsn't prepared for it to end so suddenly. Thank goodness book 2 was readily available. The erotic scenes were scorching hot with just the right amount of tenderness. In the non-erotic scenes, we got just enough information about the main characters to form a formidable connection with them. Perfect balance!

Mari and Luca continue to work through their list of sexual fantasies in All Wrapped Up, Book Two in The List Series. They’ve abandoned their original plan of no strings attached and, for the most part, Mari’s learning to be okay with it. She definitely likes Luca’s strings (and whatever else he might use to restrain her), but she’s not sure she’s ready to take the next step in their relationship. Luca, sweet, strong, commanding Luca, insists that it’s time to move in together. Mari insists it’s time to relax and enjoy what they share without complicating things.

With every moment they spend together, Luca shows Mari how good they could be together. Will Mari run away from her emotions, or does Luca have her all wrapped up?

All Wrapped Up is Book Two in The List Series and contains mature adult themes, including graphic and explicit sex.

In the 2nd novella in the List Series we follow Mari and Luca as they explore the boundaries of their new found relationship. We also get to see a bit more interaction between the two and Mari's family. I do wish we could get a little more insight in Luca's family life.

All Wrapped Up is even hotten than Birthday Wishes and I think it has more to do with their budding relationship as opposed to the quick hookup!

Love it Braxton Cole! Can't wait for book 3!!

Braxton Cole lives in the Pacific Northwest where she spends most of her time holed up in her office writing stories. When she's not writing, she can be found riding her bike, hiking the fabulous local trails, chasing her kids, or wishing that her thumb was a little more green. She has a bad habit of killing what she tries to grow, but hasn't given up hopes of one day being a successful urban farmer.

Braxton writes erotic romance because romance is the stuff that makes life great, and sex is fun. The two belong together, both in life and in fiction.

**BT & Giveaway** Scorpions MC Prequel ~ Ryder ~ Jani Kay

Title: Scorpions MC Prequel: RYDER

Author: Jani Kay
Release Date:  January 28, 2014

All Jade ever wants is an intelligent, well-mannered, and highly educated man like her daddy. One who has stellar career prospects as he climbs the corporate ladder to success. A good provider who will give her a stable life and a gorgeous house in the right neighborhood. A charmed life. Everything orderly and well balanced. Her perfect match. Isn't that what every woman wants? What she doesn’t want is a smartass, cocky, rough-around-the-edges biker. One who has tattoos and piercings, and looks like a sex god. One who is demanding and controlling. The ultimate alpha male who storms into her life and shakes her to the core. Jade never saw it coming. Ryder is the one man she can’t resist. He shows her what she really needs. Him.

All Ryder wants is inner peace. Freedom from the hatred churning in his gut. Since his mother deserted him, his life has turned to sh*t. He’s killed a man, lost his brother and fought for his survival. All before turning twelve. Saved by Razor and Cobra, sons of the Scorpions, he owes his life and allegiance to them. The Scorpion MC is his only family. One he will serve and protect till his dying breath. What he doesn’t need in his life is a smart mouthed woman who thinks she’s better than him. One who pushes every one of his buttons. One who challenges him to want to be more than a drifter. One who makes him question everything he’s ever known. Ryder never saw it coming. He can’t get Jade out of his head. She shows him what he really wants. Her.

This is a sexy, short novella. It gives us a basic introduction to Ryder and Jade. And, honestly, it was a nice introduction. We get a much needed build up to the novel. I couldn't help but wonder why this novella wasn't just made a part of the initial novel. Yes, there was a lot of information in it, yes it was definitely information needed that is imperative to the story. But why do a separate novella?

Jade has her perfect little life planned out before her. And she's happy with it, content with the direction she's going. All she's missing is the butterflies. The sparks. Her real life book boyfriend.

Ryder has so much on his plate he has no desire to deal with "daddy's little princess". Unfortunately, he has no choice but to deal with her. As he uncovers little bits and pieces about her, he discovers there much more fire within her that she even knows. And he's determined to bring it out of her.

Jade has other plans. With an over-protective brother, and a father who leads her life in the palm of her hands, she doesn't know where to turn. She's determined that dealing with Ryder puts her on a collision course.

I am definitely loolking forward to the full length novel. If Jani Kay's plan was to suck us in for the upcoming novel. JOB WELL DONE. I'm anxious for more of Ryder and Jade.

Jani has been married for a long time to a special man, and her two children and their partners are the sunshine in her life. She is a voracious reader and would spend her last dollar on a book - always fascinated that for the mere price of a book, she can escape her world for a while and see through someone else's eyes.

Besides reading, her favorite 'thing' is traveling - she has traveled the world, learning about the ways people live and has come to the realization that no matter where we live, we all ultimately want the same things. Her hobby - Scrapbooking - keeps her up till way after midnight and her usual subjects are her family and her travels.

Ever since she can remember, Jani wanted to write stories about people, about their lives and loves. Relationships and Happiness - arguably the most difficult things to master in life and yet exactly what everyone ultimately desires (in her humble opinion).

REVIEWS

This book took me on an emotional rollercoaster ride. One moment I was laughing and the next I was literally crying (I think my husband might think I've totally lost my mind). And in between the laughter and crying I was swept up in romance and the suspense of it all. T.K. Leigh manages to bring me to my knees emotionally through her obviously carefully selected words. … Needless to say this book is a must read. Once you start you will NOT be able to stop. I give it a solid 6 stars out of 5. That's right, for the second time since I started reviewing books I'm giving this book a 6 out of 5 star rating. It really is just that good. - Book Cracker Caroline

My honest opinion is i'm speechless, just couldn't get enough of this awesome book, let alone put it down. This book had you gripping on the edge, waiting to see what happens, with a lot of twist and turns and heartache in the process. - Booky Ramblings This is a fantastic series and I cannot wait to find out what happens next. This is a must read!! - Who Picked This

This is an extremely well-written, edge-of-your-seat, page-flipping action, suspense, love, and friendship story. I absolutely LOVE this story. - Page Princess

Olivia Adler Runs.

When her emotions begin to play with her instead of facing them head on , she runs. through it all, she's in pain from the desolation running brings to her psyche. So many times I want to read int eh book and slap her silly, telling her to wake up. Her peace was right in front of her. My God, the pain Alex & Olivia put themselves through out of sheer stubborness.

A Tragic Wreck is the continuation fo the hit A Beautiful Mess. I can't seem to find a more fitting title for the novel than what it is. While reading T.K. Leigh's words, I've experienced the greatest of highes, the lowest of lows and everything in between. My heart feels like it's been ripped from my chest, stomped, shattered, put back together again only to feel it swell to the point of bursting and in need of more bandages.

Alexander can't give up on Olivia, no matter what she says or how many times they tell him to move on. He's never given up - not after all the years, why would he now when he's just found her? Alex is such a complex character. T.K. Leigh has done such a fantastic job with him, We see so many sides of the man Alex is. So many layers. The Alpha Male, The Sexual Dominant, The Protector, The Menacing, The Mysterious, the Sweet, The Caring, The deep down emotional man who is not afarid to let tears all. I love him. He is one of my all-time BBFs. *sigh*

T.K. Leigh has a best seller in her hands. A Tragic Mess has the ability to make the reader feel so many emotions. God! What a read. I would giver 10+ stars or "page turns" if I was able to. Best Seller - no doubt in my mind.

Hi! I am Danielle live in Western New York with my husband and two sons. I never knew I had a dream to become a writer until I started becoming obsessed with reading in the last two years. The obsession began with Twilight and then matured to Fifty Shades. While used to reading mainstream best sellers, found a new love for indie authors. I love to do paintings related to the books I read and eventually turning into Pushy Girl Paintings and now do work for other indie writers and readers. My first book idea started from a dream I had one night and became obsessed with the story and started writing. Now having arguments with the people in my head and loving every moment of it, even when they take control of the story.

Kaden Cross had it all: money, fame, and women, but he lost it all in one night. One night that would forever change him. Forced from obscurity and into the limelight as the lead singer of the band Mouth2Mouth, Kaden returns to the lifestyle that almost destroyed him. The last thing he wanted was to find a sexy drugged out redhead waiting for him in his bed. Finding out that she’s the victim of a sex slave ring, puts Mouth2Mouth in peril, because the only way to save the woman he’s started to love, means denying her the one thing she wants the most. Freedom.

Sawyer has had one dream her whole life, to escape the smothering love of her mother and a life of poverty. Her goal was just within her grasp when her world is turned upside down. Kidnapped and drugged, she is given to a man she knows nothing about except that he holds her life in his hands.

One night, and two lost souls with tainted lives, find a love strong enough to reveal a secret that just might kill them all.

ATTENTION LOVERS OF THE LAST RIDERS SERIES AND SHADE & LILY!
The first chapter of Shade & Lily’s book – SHADE’S FALL – is in the back of Tainted! You don’t want to miss this!

“Did I give you permission to touch me?” This time it was Sawyer throwing his words back in his face.

Kaden gave a low, seductive laugh. “Did that make you angry, Sawyer? I didn’t mean to make you angry. Which do you appreciate more: something easily given, or something you have to ask for, something you crave?”

“I didn’t notice that woman sitting next to you last night asking to touch you.”
He shrugged nonchalantly. “Did you see me touch her back?”
Sawyer had to admit to herself that she hadn’t seen him touch the woman back.

“Do you want to know if I fucked her last night, Sawyer?” Kaden asked, leaning down to whisper his question in her ear.

Sawyer trembled under his seductive spell. She had never been so intensely pursued by a man before. She’d had several that had flirted with her—even Rick when he had been luring her into his sick web of lies had made her feel wanted—but she had always been aware that he would forget about her five minutes after leaving the restaurant. She had eventually agreed to go out with him because he had discovered her desire to eat at one of the finer restaurants in town whose chef had recently won a prestigious cooking award.

“N—no, I don’t, Kaden. I—I don’t care who you fuck,” Sawyer lied to both of them.
“I didn’t. I believe Alana ended up in Sin’s bed after he finished with Megan.”
“How benevolent of him to share himself around,” Sawyer said, disgusted.
“I believe that’s what he thinks. I, on the other hand, have learned that quality is much more exciting than quantity, so I spent my night taking cold showers and jerking off, thinking about you.”

I was born in a small town in Kentucky. My family began poor, but worked their way to owning a restaurant. My mother was one of the best cooks I have ever known, and she instilled in all her children the value of hard work and education.

Taking after my mother, I’ve always loved to cook, and became pretty good if I do say so myself. I love to experiment and my unfortunate family has suffered through many. They now have learned to steer clear of those dishes. I absolutely love the holidays and my family puts up with my zany decorations.

For now, my days are spent at work and I write during the nights and weekends. I have two children who both graduate next year from college. My daughter does my book covers, and my son just tries not to blush when someone asks him about my books.

Currently, I am writing three series of books- The Last Riders that is fairly popular, The Dark Souls series, which is not, and The VIP Room, which we will soon see. My favorite book I have written is Soul Of A Woman, which I am hoping to release during the summer of 2014. It took me two years to write, during which I lost my mother and brother. It’s a book that I truly feel captures the true depths of love a woman can hold for a man. In case you haven’t figured it out yet, I am an emotional writer who wants the readers to feel the emotion of the characters they are reading. Because of this, Teased is probably the hardest thing I have written.

All my books are written for one purpose - the enjoyment others find in them and the expectations of my fans that inspire me to give it my best. In the near future I hope to take a weekend break and visit Vegas (hopefully be next summer). Right now, I am typing away on Shade’s and Lily’s story and the beautiful Kentucky winter weather.
