Sometimes the darkest nights produce the brightest stars.

When the pregnancy test turns positive, Kassidy, Dag and Chris are thrilled they’re going to be parents at last. Their polyamorous relationship has blossomed, and there’s more than enough love to go around for their long-awaited little “Belly Bean”. Then reality sets in. Dag grew up without a father. Does that mean he’s too damaged to be a good role model?

Kassidy is at a critical point in her career, working long hours on a high-profile project. And Chris gets a disappointing—but not exactly unexpected—reaction when he contacts his parents with the news. As worry nibbles at the edges of their happiness, fate is poised to tear it to shreds, leaving a loving foundation three years in the making cracking under the weight of grief and guilt. And the trio in the fight of their lives to repair their unconventional bonds.

Warning: Our sexy threesome is back for their happy ending. Keep extra tissues on hand for tears, a fan on standby for hot sex, and a post-it note to remind you to take a deep breath. It’s time to find out if the juice is really worth the squeeze.

I read the first 2 books in this series long before I ever became a blogger/reviewer. Back in the day, I was oblivious about leaving reviews, I just enjoyed reading. So when I saw the invite for this, I was tickled to pieces because I had already read the first two book multiple times.

In this fabulous conclusion to the story of Dag, Kassidy, & Chris, they examine their relationship from all sides. How does a polyamorous relationship look to someone from the outside? Are they ready to open their hearts to a baby? Are they ready to deal with the struggles that that alone comes with?

As the 3 of them face struggles they couldn't imagine, they have to decide how they are going to deal with it, together or separately.

I love Kelly Jamieson, she has no fear in her writing and the story of Dag, Kassidy, & Chris will be one I will continue to read over and over again. If you are a fan of menage relationships, this series is one for you.

“What should we name her?” she asked.
Chris and Dag both laughed. “Her?” they said.
She grinned. “It could be a girl.”
“You want a girl, babe?” Dag laid his palm on her stomach.
“I’m supposed to say I just want a healthy baby, but I kind of do want a little girl.”
“A little girl would be awesome.”
“But I really do just want a healthy baby,” she added.
“Boys can be fun too, and since he’ll have two dads, I won’t have to worry that I don’t know how to entertain him.”
“We’ll take him to strip clubs,” Dag said. “And teach him how to shoot tequila.” Kassidy giggled and gave him a little punch.
“Right.”
“Hey,” he said. “Those are important things in a man’s life. Along with hookers, fast cars and guns.”
Kassidy stared at him in horror. “Hookers?” Her forehead tightened. “You’ve never gone to a hooker, have you?”
“Fuck no. I’m kidding, babe. About the guns too. Fast cars, maybe not.”
“Oh. For a minute there I was having second thoughts about this.” Dag nuzzled her neck and Chris laughed. “You know he’s full of shit.”
“November.” Dag sighed. “That’s not far.”
“About nine months,” Kassidy said, trying not to smile, and earned herself a tickle.
“Can we have sex?” Chris asked.
“Right this minute?” His lips twitched.
“I meant for the next nine months.”
“Christ,” Dag said. “Please say yes.”
“God yes,” Kassidy said. “But even if we couldn’t, you two still could with each other. Major benefit of a poly relationship. However, I’ve already Googled it and learned all about sex while pregnant. Apparently there’s increased blood flow to your pelvic area during pregnancy, which can make your genitals swell and heighten sexual sensation.”
Dag blanched. “My genitals are gonna swell?”
Kassidy giggled. “I certainly hope so. But no more than usual. Come on, follow along here. My genitals may swell.”
“Christ,” Chris said.
“However, some women report they can’t orgasm as easily.”
“We’ll just have to try harder,” Dag vowed.
“Thank you,” she said demurely. “I appreciate that. Apparently, many couples find they feel more pleasure from foreplay, oral sex or masturbation than intercourse. So lots of foreplay would be good.” The two guys gave each other evil grins. “Assuming I don’t have morning sickness,” she continued. “Because barfing during sex is not, well, sexy.”
 “Uh…no.”
“But it’s supposedly important to keep some level of intimacy going throughout pregnancy, to keep the relationship healthy but also to prevent sexual problems after the baby is born.” Chris frowned. “Why would we have sexual problems after the baby is born?”
“Possibly because after I give birth I will not want you to touch me ever again.” Both guys’ jaws dropped. “Kidding! Sort of. Seriously, it might take a while after the baby’s born before I’m ready to have sex again—with one man, never mind two! You two could get antsy. But then again, you have each other, which takes some pressure off me.” She beamed at them. “This is going to work out great. Not only that—three of us to take turns with diapers and middle of the night feedings.”
“Diapers. Ugh.” The corners of Dag’s mouth turned down.
“You’ll be changing your fair share,” Kassidy said with a little smack to his shoulder. “Don’t even think otherwise.” He groaned, but she caught the soft look in his eyes. “I’m scared too,” she whispered. “This is a big deal, you guys.”
“Babe.” Dag curled his hand around the back of her neck. “You’re amazing. You’re gonna be a great mom. The best. Love you so much.”
“I love you too, Kass.” Chris nuzzled her ear. “He’s right. And we’re right here with you all the way.”
“Th-thanks.” She swallowed. She didn’t feel much different. Her breasts were a little tender, like around the time of her period. Luckily she didn’t feel sick at all. She hoped that continued.
“Speaking of sex…” Dag rose and pulled her by one hand to stand. “Let’s go celebrate.”

Kelly Jamieson

Kelly Jamieson writes romances with heat that's sweet. Her writing has been described as “emotionally complex”, “sweet and satisfying” and “blisteringly sexy”. If she can stop herself from reading or writing, she loves to cook. She has shelves of cookbooks that she reads at length. She also enjoys gardening in the summer, and in the winter she likes to read gardening magazines and seed catalogues (there might be a theme here...) She also loves shopping, especially for clothes and shoes. But her family takes precedence over everything else (yes, even writing). She has two teenage children who are the best kids in the world, not that she’s biased, and a wonderful husband who does loads of laundry while she plays on the computer writing stories.

**Bt & Giveaway** The Dare ~ Bet Series 3 ~ Rachel Van Dyken

From #1 New York Times Bestselling Author Rachel Van Dyken, comes the third and final book in the New York Time's Bestselling Bet Series...

Boring Beth Lynn has always lived up to her nickname... until she wakes up in a hotel bed next to a sexy as sin state senator she re-connected with at a wedding the previous night.

The biggest problem? She can't seem to remember anything about the night before except for crying into a box of cookies, and she's pretty sure Grandma Nadine slipped something in her drink. And what should have been a one night stand turns into a six day adventure when Grandma whisks them off to Hawaii to save them from the ensuing media firestorm.

Jace isn't looking for commitment -- he believes he made that clear when he left the wedding with Beth. Then again, he can't remember much of anything other than the way her skin felt beneath his hands. Now he's stuck with her at some lame couple's retreat and trying his hardest to fight the attraction only a woman like Beth could invoke.

He doesn't think it can get any worse.

But one spider attack... A donkey ride from hell... And an unfortunate episode with Viagra tea -- and there's one thing Jace knows for sure: He should never have agreed to Grandma Nadine's suggestion in the first place.

Because if this isn't paradise, and it isn't a vacation -- that only leaves one option.

Survival.

But to make it through alive... they might lose their hearts in the process.

(Romantic Comedy, Friends to lovers, Vacation Romance, New Adult Romance, Funny Stand Alone, Bargain Books, Humorous Romance)

“Beth!” Jace knocked on the door. “If you’re done freaking out, we need to go.” “Right.” I wiped my wet cheeks and clenched the dress in my hands. It wasn’t magic. If anything, it was just a reminder that I was exactly where I’d been when I’d graduated in 2000. A loser. A loser with a small rack who preferred math and science to Facebook. “Beth, I’m serious. It’s not looking good.” “Keep your pants on!” I yelled, irritated that he was making me hurry. With a curse, I pulled on the dress, put my wet hair in a quick pony tail, and opened the bathroom door. “What’s the big hurry?” Jace held up his phone. It said Grandma Nadine. “Hello!” a loud voice yelled. “Jace! Beth! Hurry! Grandma has this all figured out.” “Famous last words.” Jace nodded. “But we have no choice.” “No choice?” I repeated. “What? Is the mafia after us or

something?” “Worse.” “I highly doubt that.” “Look.” He pointed to the TV. Reporters were in front of a hotel, looking excited as hell. “The news?” I asked. “Why is that worse than—” “Special reports say the senator took a prostitute back to his room at midnight last night and has yet to check out! Which raises the question, has the senator truly put his murky past behind him? Sources close to the senator’s ex-fiancée say the cheating scandal from two years ago nearly destroyed him. One more scandal won’t bode well for the youngest senator in state history. Could a trust issue in his personal life have a reflection on his public one?” “That’s enough.” I grabbed the remote from Jace’s frozen hand and threw it onto the bed. Great. So not only had I lost my virginity to a politician, but now I was a prostitute. I reached for his cell phone and growled into it. “We’ll have words later.” Grandma snorted. “But get us out of here first.” “Say the magic words.” “Uh, please?” I nudged Jace out of his paralyzed state. “Not those words.” I closed my eyes and allowed visions of my calm and sterile office to bring back the peace into my body. That didn’t work. I needed to think about Vampire Diaries. Damon Salvatore. Damon Salvatore. Damon Salvatore. And happy place found! “I can’t read minds. What words do you want me to say?” Grandma chuckled. “Why, thank you, of course!” “For?” “How was he?” She giggled like a school girl. “Men with power seem to have a special type of—” “Thank you!” I all but shouted. “Now get us out of here.” “Roger.” The phone went dead. I looked to Jace for help, but he seemed to be fighting a losing battle with his tie as he tried to pull it from his neck. “Stop.” I swatted his hands away. “You’re going to hang yourself if you keep doing that.” He shrugged. “What?” I loosened the tie. “No snappy retort?”

“Not feeling snappy,” he said dryly. I slapped him. I never said I was good with emotions. “What the hell was that for?” “Singing Katy Perry.” I grinned. “Now snap to it, Mr. Senator. We’ve gotta make it out of this hotel without that skinny bitch reporting it on the evening news.” “Grandma?” “The reporter.” “You understand my confusion,” he added, just as someone knocked on the door. “Stay here.” “It feels like a bad movie,” I whispered to myself as I chewed the nail polish off my thumb. “Shit.” Jace looked through the peephole and then said shit about five more times before slowly opening the door. Why was he so upset? Why the hell would… “Aw, shit.” I repeated. Because there really wasn’t any other word that existed in the English language that would fit as well. So I repeated it again. As did Jace. Grandma shrugged and pulled off her sunglasses. “Let the fun begin!”

***JENNIFER'S REVIEW***

Never stop believing in fairy tails....
NY Times best selling author Rachel Van Dykens third and finale book in "The Bet" series (hopefully NOT) is a perfect summer read.
I was happily lost in this funny laugh out loud romance!
Grandma Nadine was up to her old tricks again, and we all know Grandma is always right!
When Senator Jace Brevik is forced to attend his friend Jakes wedding he had no idea of the life altering journey he was in for!
I'm not going to spoil this one by giving you all the detail. Let me just say my faith in true love, magic, and fairy tails was renewed! We all need to believe ...

4 stars and a place on my bookshelf for this one! (I'm still giggling)

~J~

When I was little–I was forced to be the evil step mother, the prince, the ugly stepsister, the dragon with dragon breath (FOR REAL), if there was a villain, I played it.

So really, we can all blame my sister for forcing me to write my own stories. If she hadn’t made me the wicked witch of the West when I was little–I may not be where I am today

I write in every genre, but my passion is New Adult and Historical Romance! I’ve decided that the New Adult bad boy is basically the same thing as a regency rake and one day I will, I WILL write a time travel series that brings both worlds together. It will probably only sell one copy, and that one copy will be bought by my Grandma, but still. A girl can dream

I love wine.
Sunshine.
Butterflies (only the pretty ones, dont judge me)
Coffee
Tattoos
Skipping in the rain
jumping in puddles
Talking to fans
Watching Christmas movies
And Traveling

I’m a hybrid author…so I’m both traditionally published and self published. Sometimes I think i’m crazy because I talk to my characters like they’re real, which, in my head, they are.

I LOVE talking to readers so please hit me up on social media and we can have a nice long chat on why romance novels should take over the world and why the Seahawks deserve to go to the Superbowl.

In 2011 I had my first book published. I cried, jumped up and down, and called everyone I knew!

I can only say I wake up wanting to do nothing but fall to my knees in thanks to God for his many blessings.

I was told one time by a very wise person to sit and think about your childhood. About the dreams that you had, the fantasies you wanted to come to life…by digging in your past it’s often found that you can decide what your destiny is.

I was a prince, a toad, a monster, the evil step-mother, and sometimes the slave girl waiting to be rescued.
So now, I’m an author.

Sounds about right…

I love to hear from readers!

About the Author:

I am a stay at home mom from the South and wife to the most giving and hard working husband ever.  I love to cook and try out new recipes even if they don't always turn out like I want them to.  I refer to my kids lovingly as the Three Stooges as they are constantly coming up with new ways to reek havoc in the house.  Most recently that included putting a rubberband on the kitchen sink sprayer so it would douse me when I did the dishes.  I love to go to roller derby bouts and read in my spare time.  I write mostly at night when the house is silent and I can sneak cookies without having to share!  If you're into stalking, try under the Cypress trees in the swamps of Louisiana, but watch out for gators!!

King

My good intentions always led to disaster. The cold hard truth is that I was never meant to be a father to Lily. Staying in Treepoint, Kentucky for a few weeks to get to know my daughter was meant to be a time of discovery, instead I find out that she’s married to a killer and living in a sex club. I’m going to find out how to destroy The Last Riders and give Lily the future she deserves.

Evie

He thinks I’m a whore; he doesn’t know me. I’m nobody’s fool, but he thinks he’s going to use me to find The Last Riders only weakness. That’s his biggest mistake of all. There’s more to me than meets the eye. King thinks he’s too good for me, that I’m less than dirt in his eyes. What the King of Queen City is going to find out too late is that I’m his judge, and I hold his life in my hands.

Being that I have read the entire series and all the series that interweave within the VIP series (The Last Riders & Biker Bitches), I'm pretty familiar with King. Unfortunately....

I wondered how I was going to switch from hating King to loving him. All I can say is - King is well King. You will either love him or hate him. You will either try understand why he made the decision's he's made, or you will still hate him. This book it's easy to hate him, especially when you find out what he's up to. I also would have like to have found out his real name, is King just a nickname?

Evie. The unlikely heroine. Who would have thought she would end up with King. She's the clubhouse whore, or that's how she's portrayed. After getting bits and pieces of her story here, I understand more about her and about her loyalty to not only Shade, but to The Last Riders. I think she's is very misunderstood and her story needed to be told. That being said, I feel like we could have gotten deeper. I want to know more about her past with her parents and her sister and why she no longer speaks to her mother. Her sister - I get that and I can't wait till she gets what's coming to her.

When Evie and King begin banging - I can't describe it either way, I would have like to have seen a bit more intimacy between them. I do get that that is difficult when there's so much distrust. There were stellar moments between them...

"Evie, I didn't want to love anyone, either, but the one thing I've learned in my line of work is, you can't stop a bullet once you've pulled the trigger." ~ King

"I don't know how to love you, King, but I'm going to try" ~ Evie

King is a great, necessary addition to the VIP series. Yes, there was a little bit more information I feel like we should have gotten, but still a fantastic addition to the series!!

“You think you can get her to betray her club?”

King didn’t say anything, giving his friend a confident smile.

“She might be able to resist your charms.”

“When has any woman turned me down? Plus, she’s a whore. She fucks all the men in The Last Riders and most of the women. Why would she turn me down?”

Henry didn’t say anything, taking the dirty dishes and moving the small table back against the wall.

“Henry?”

“I don’t think she’s going to be as easy to fool into ratting out her friends. All those reports you’ve been reading show how loyal they are to each other, so I don’t see her breaking so easily.”

“Did I say it was going to be easy? I think she’ll fight her attraction to me, but she’ll cave and tell me everything I need to know once I have her in my bed. I don’t know which I’m going to enjoy more: fucking her or getting Shade out of Lily’s life.”

King and Evie are sitting in King’s new bar
~Hey you two…So…When’s the wedding? (Chuckles)…No Really, and wedding bells in the future? Little King’s running around?
“We were married during the summer. We’re not planning to have any children in the foreseeable future.” King looked at Evie.
“We have plenty of time.” Evie agreed.

~I know when you first met, things were a bit rocky…ya know…using each other to get information…but honestly, what were your first impressions of each other?
“I thought she was a very attractive woman.” King hedged.
Evie laughed. “I thought he was a dick.”

~What are three things you Like and Dislike about each other? (and play nice)
King thought for a minute. “I like that she’s loyal, can drink me under the table, and of course pole dances for me. I dislike that she’s a smartass, that she thinks I’m not macho, and drinks my expensive whiskey.”
Evie rolled her eyes. “I like that he quit smoking, that he buys expensive whiskey, and is good in bed. I dislike that he’s usually a ass, that he hides his expensive whiskey, and that he couldn’t do the dishes if his life depended on it.”

~Evie, in KING, we find out about your past. Do you find that having King in your life has helped you find peace and closure with the past?
“Definitely. I didn’t know how big the hole in my heart was until King filled it. Our pasts helped us to understand each other better, his love for Lily is important to him and The Last Riders are important to me.”

~Both of you go through many changes within KING, one being a career change. Why at this point in both of your lives were you looking for a “change”?
“I had to change for Lily and Evie’s safety.” King answered.
“Mine isn’t so simple to answer.” Evie explained. “I needed more. When I became a PRN when I was in the military it was to help other’s. My attack and losing Levi made me forget that for a while. I guess the best way to explain is simply say that I had healed enough to go back to the job I loved.”

~King, I love how you try to prove your “Macho-ness” throughout KING. What are some of the things that you do around the house to prove that you’re “Macho”, like The Last Riders?
“Last week I installed a ceiling fan.” King bragged.
“It shakes.” Evie said.
“I fixed the sink faucet that was dripping.”
Evie shook her head. “I did that.”
“I put together your new elliptical.”
Evie shook her head. “It broke.”
King gave her a wicked grin. “I gave you three orgasms last night.”
Evie nodded. “That you did just fine.”

~Evie, how has life changed now that you are a “One Man Woman”? Does King keep you satisfied enough? (Wink Wink)
“Did you read my last sentence?”

~Can’t wait for everyone to read your story…and I for one am so happy for you both, that you have found each other!!
“Thank You.”

I was born in a small town in Kentucky. My family began poor, but worked their way to owning a restaurant. My mother was one of the best cooks I have ever known, and she instilled in all her children the value of hard work, and education.

Taking after my mother, I’ve always love to cook, and became pretty good if I do say so myself. I love to experiment and my unfortunate family has suffered through many. They now have learned to steer clear of those dishes. I absolutely love the holidays and my family puts up with my zany decorations.

For now, my days are spent writing, writing, and writing. I have two children who both graduate this year from college. My daughter does my book covers, and my son just tries not to blush when someone asks him about my books.

Currently I am writing four series of books- The Last Riders, The Dark Souls, The VIP Room, and Biker Bitches series. My favorite book I have written is Soul Of A Woman, which I am hoping to release during the summer of 2014. It took me two years to write, during which I lost my mother, and brother. It’s a book that I truly feel captures the true depths of love a woman can hold for a man. In case you haven’t figured it out yet, I am an emotional writer who wants the readers to feel the emotion of the characters they are reading. Because of this, Teased is probably the hardest thing I have written.

All my books are written for one purpose- the enjoyment others find in them, and the expectations of my fans that inspire me to give it my best. In the near future I hope to take a weekend break and visit Vegas that will hopefully be this summer. Right now I am typing away on my next story and looking forward to traveling this summer!”

Hey! My name is Sarah Brianne and after living for twenty-two years the characters in my head told me enough was enough and I have finally put pen to paper (or is it finger to keyboard?) to tell their stories. Since I was a little girl I have watched every chick flick I could get my hands on, then when I became older I discovered a whole new world of romance novels. To me there is nothing better then a tale of true love and those are the stories that have inspired me to write. Like everything else in my life I have put my own spin on two lovers destined to be together.

Next to my books my prized possession are my two beautiful fur babies, Kalypso and Khaleesi. I know what you’re thinking, do you pack them in your purse? Yep, right next to my kindle.
